I had purchased a mobile home from *** MFH in Monroe, La and Lexington is the company that made it. I have sent 3 emails to Lexington about the repairs that are needed to the mobile home and they never responded. I contacted *** and they said that their side of things were done, but I was told that they would contact Lexington to see what the hold up is on the repairs or even contacting me about a date when things can be set up, but they have not let me know anything either. I signed the papers in late April, but the mobile home was not delivered till June because of the weather. I have reached out to *** and Lexington with nothing coming back to me. With the repairs that are needed I have not be able to fully move into the mobile home and I'm paying for it every month and it is not in the condition of a new mobile home. If I was contacted about a date being set or any other communication it wouldn't be that bad, but with no response my patience has run out.

I recently signed papers to close on a 2018 model home built by Lexington and I am so glad I haven’t signed papers to book our loan yet. We got our home on our land and it’s a wonder it was still in one piece with the shape it was in from the move. When expressing our concerns to the dealer we bought it from we were told that it was all customary and that the damages were easily fixed. Welllll, here we are 2 months later and we still have a whole page of things needing fixed. And we aren’t talking about some trim popped off or an scratch on the floor. We are talking walls and ceilings cracked, none of our doorstep shutting correctly due to the walls not being square, places on the outside walls not being straight but wavy, etc. . We have tried our hardest to be patient and understanding but when you talk to a supervisor and they are extremely rude and disrespectful for no reason it’s hard to bite your tongue. Not to mention that our service guy didn’t answer our phone calls for days and when we called the supervisor he then returned our call 5 minutes later. Then he showed up with a paper for us to sign today to say that all the repairs were done. Like are you kidding me!! This is my first ever house and I’m actually so mad that people can do others that way. Highly advise against doing business with this company.
Ms. Keith and her boyfriend Kaleb Heinley bought a home off of a dealer lot in Hot Springs AR. There was some largely cosmetic issues that would have normally been fixed when the customer presented their 30 cosmetic list. However, Mr. Heinley and Ms. Keith had concerns these items would not be addressed and refused to complete their loan audit and begin paying for the home. We issued a contractor right away to address the issues but will have to admit, our contractors work and our efforts to get the correct materials to the home were not our finest hour. We finally switched contractors after a conversation I had with Ms. Keith and our new contractor had everything completed to the customers satisfaction in a bit less than 2 weeks. Ms. Keith and Mr. Heinley are now happy and we appreciate their patients throughout the process.

Lexington homes in Mississippi manufactured our mobile home which happens to be absolute junk. Initially, only small cosmetic issues like the tack strips falling, cabinet falling off the hinge...which I hated, but decided to turn a blind eye. After like the first rain we got, we had water leaking from our ceiling...they “patched” our roof twice. Which mind you was during the first year we lived here. We have been living in our 4 bedroom home for almost 4 years. We have had to have someone to come out at least one time per year for our air conditioner due to it not cooling our house and running constantly. Also, during the first winter we started smelling something burning when our heat was running. We thought initially that it was just that first time heater use burn smell...but it continued. Had someone come inspect that...a manual was left on the furnace that could have potentially burned our entire home down not to mention my three children and my husband and I. After our “year warranty” all the structural and more abnormalities began to present themselves. The light in one room will not work whatsoever. We have a socket that will not work in our master bedroom. We noticed some problems with the flooring in the kitchen...an entire area was sunken in....needless to say after Lexington finally sent someone...there was rotten flooring with mold growing between the floor and linoleum....last year they replaced our entire kitchen floor which was a nightmare and the linoleum is already buckling everywhere. The people that came to fix the floor also looked at air conditioning system at its interior access point...said they didn’t know why there was not a grate at the top...so they put one...it still don’t work right. Last year we also had a bad storm pass in which we had water coming out around the ceiling fan in the living room. We assumed it was storm damage WRONG!! Insurance adjuster put in his report our shingles were put on wrong when built and it had nothing to do with the storm. We notified Lexington homes and a copy of the report was sent to their company in order to have the issue addressed. Again to remind you, someone had already been out twice to “patch” our roof and no one ever pointed out the fact that we had shingles on wrong. Needless to say we received a letter in the mail today stating that the shingles were placed according to code in Mississippi and inspected prior to leaving their factory so they are doing nothing about it. Oh and they said that we as the homeowners would need to get up on the roof every year to re-tar it in order for it to be sustainable. In November of last year , our microwave quit, stove went out in December. Needless to say, there are probably issues that I have not listed or even found yet. We are very unhappy with Lexington and will not recommend their homes to anyone. In fact we will tell them to steer clear from anything Lexington or maybe we should go as far as to say just stay away from cavco inc who owns Lexington and other brands.
Upon receiving their notice of concern, I wrote the ***'s a letter stating their roof had been installed per HUD requirement and it was not at all out of the norm for an insurance company to first try to place blame on the manufacture. I told them to appeal as many have done with positive results in dealing with their insurance. The ***'s decided to turn the matter over to the State of Louisiana. We are now awaiting the notification of the States inspection which we will attend. We will abide by the decisions of the State of Louisiana as to repairs that may be required to the ***'s home.

We purchased a brand new home from *** Home Outlet and Lexington Homes is the maker of the home. We have had several different repair issues since the home was delivered. We are getting the run around from Lexington and *** Home Outlet on whos place it is to fix. Whether it is a warranty repair or just a repair from the setting up of the home. This has been going on for two months now and still to this date nothing has been fixed.
Very cheap made mobile home. Very little insulation. Scratch and dent appliances. I've had my home for 3 months now and I really regret buying it.
This is the first I have ever heard of Ms.. She bought her home in October of 2017. She is out of warranty now and there are no complaints in her file. The only work order at all was one where the dealer worked on some siding that blew off in transit and we compensated them for their time and materials.
