wrong address on the check. I received the paperwork on 04/07/16 from Mr. [redacted] and per the terms of the contract he signed – payment was not due until 05/07/16. I did not find out we had the wrong address until 05/09/16 – I explained to Mr. [redacted] that as soon as I verified that the check had not yet cleared the bank, I would re-issue the check. On 05/11/16 I issued a new check. The check number is 36518, it is dated 05/11/16, in the amount of $500.00. I mailed the check to Mr. [redacted] via USPS, Priority Mail and it was received by him on 05/13/16.
I don’t feel that I need to call Mr. [redacted] with an apology we didn’t do anything wrong or lie to him.
