Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because it was only days after we received the recliner and *** said that the bedbugs came from the chairThe nursing home requested that we remove the chair immediatelyWe did that Saturday but it took us a few days to get it to Lewis furniture because they were closed that Sunday*** confirmed that you don't get an infestation in a weekThey were hatching in the chair Sincerely, [redacted]
We remain convinced that the above-referenced complaint of bed bug infestation in a recliner purchased from our store is without merit.As was stated in our previous response, our store is treated on a monthly basis by a professional pest control service, and this has been the case for many years We have never had a complaint of this nature before or since the [redacted] purchased the recliner And, in fact, we had the pest control technicians inspect our entire premises just today, and they found no evidence, past or present, or bed bugs.We are sorry for the problem experienced by the [redacted] , but there is no reason for us to believe their problem orginated in our store
We are very sorry for the bed bug infestation experienced by *** ***, but we find her claim to be without merit and cannot issue a refund.Our store is treated on a monthly basis by a professional pest control service, and we have not had a complaint of this nature before or since the ***'s
purchased the recliner. The recliner was new, and had never been out of our store. It was placed on our sales floor directly from the shipping container.If the recliner had bugs in it, they were either picked up in the ***'s vehicle or in the nursing home where it was taken. Interestingly enough, it was almost two weeks after the date of purchase before they notified us that they had an issue.Again, we are sorry for their problem, but we cannot find any validity to their claim

The part purchased was the correct part for the customer's dryer; however, it obviously was not the part needed to fix the problemThe customer was doing his own repair, and was informed before he made the purchase that there would not be any
refund if the part was installed since it was an electrical part

The nursing home requested that we remove the chair immediately. We did that Saturday but it took us a few days to get it to Lewis furniture because they were closed that Sunday. [redacted] confirmed that you don't get an infestation in a week. They were hatching in the chair.
