Review: I purchase a sectional a couple years ago and purchased the protection plan for 200.00 (which they said “I would get back if I didn't need any repairs”). I specifically asked the sales girl and the girl ringing up my order “if I don’t use the protection, I get my money back? They both said "yes, that is true", but I just received a “certificate” which is not a check it is a “store credit”! So it was an out and out lie! It should have been communicated when I agreed to it that you DONT GET YOUR MONEY BACK, IT IS A STORE CREDIT, but it wasn’t. Deceptive business practices! And the "Store credit is only good for 90 days, no rugs, pillows or clearance.Desired Settlement: My 200 dollars back like they promised me

Please accept this letter as a response to the claim filed by [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] purchased a sectional on March 20, 2010 that was delivered on April 3, 2010. Ms. [redacted] also purchased an accidental protection plan for her sectional. Part of the accidental protection plan offers the customer a merchandise credit toward a future purchase in the amount of the protection plan if no claims have been submitted. Levin has contacted Ms. [redacted] and reviewed the merchandise credit program and apologized for any confusion. The manager offered to assist her when she visits the store as new outdoor accessories will be arriving soon for her to possibly use her certificate on these new items. Please do not hesitate to contact me at ###-###-####, extension [redacted], or [redacted] should you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, [redacted] Director of Customer Service
Review: My wife and I purchased a Sterns & Foster Jolynn LX Plush Pillowtop Queen mattress with split boxes from Levine on 9/22/2012. The set was delivered on 10/6/2012 to our home. We called Levine to complain that the mattress is defective and they promptly sent someone to research our complaint. However, this man made a report to Levine stating, according to the service manager, that the mattress sides are broken and defective. The mattress is cupped on both sides and you need to hang onto the sides, otherwise you will fall out of the bed. I called today on 4/29/2014 and spoke to a lady that is the customer service manager. You would have better luck talking to the wall - she knows nothing about customer service. I asked that the mattress be replaced, one and half years and the mattress is a piece of ST. Plus on top of that, you have to buy there mattress cover or there is no warranty!?The mattress is suppose to have a 20 year warranty - is that dog years? LOL. Why would the man who came to investigate the mattress state that there is a problem and Levin does not want to back up there product? I will also contact the manufacturer and our state attorney generals office for fraud.Desired Settlement: Simply, replace the mattress with an agreed upon equivalent or refund us back 85% of our sales price of $1947.38. Twenty years minus one and half years.

Response:
The man who came out from Levins commented that the bed was defective and the sides were in fact broken down. So how could the company state that there is nothing wrong. The company stinks, after reading other reviews from others on your site and we will never do business with them again! We are going through the manufacturer and I also hired an attorney to start litigation. This company does not belong to the Revdex.com because they DO NOT sale quality merchandise and have NO customer service to back up what they sale. Every Masonic member, every Christian and every union brother, stay away from Levins!!!!!
