I had a appointment with Dr. [redacted] last week and I found her to be very gentle and very concerned about my dental needs. She was knowledgeable and very professional.

I went to a new patient special at Lets CU Smile Dr. [redacted], DDS [redacted] on December 3rd 2012 My Credit card was charged for $122.95. I called 5-23-13 around 2 pm to ask for my records and X-rays. Was put on hold and transferred to a woman named [redacted] I was told that they would not release them to me. Without paying 104.00, because I got the X-rays done on a special. I told the woman that I was never verbally told this would be the case and that I did not sign any paperwork. She said that she is aware I didn't sign or hear that. That's their policy and I told her I was going to file a complaint. She said she didn't care. I was never told in verbal or writing that this would be the case. I am moving to another dentist and I need these records. I remember the break down on the new patient and it did include the x-ray in it. The special was a referral new patient. My Mom was my referral for that appointment. The amount that I paid 122.95 was 34.00 more then I was told on the phone, when making the appointment. Special included Exam, X-rays, Cleaning. I just went with what they billed me, because I was very happy with the teeth cleaning I received. What they are doing to me is not only dishonest, it's mean and cruel. They shouldn't have new patient specials if they are going to keep your X-rays. Not telling you about it. Or they should make you aware that if later on your want them, there is an additional fee. Those are my teeth and my records. I paid their price they wanted, and I would really like my records and set of X-rays. I am so upset I am about to hire a lawyer! I have done many different dental appointments in my life, including a few new patient specials. Never have I been told that I can't transfer my things, because I didn't pay full price.
