I paid *** $250 for an extended warranty. He now refuses to give me the receipt for the extended warranty because my brother owes him $200 or so. I paid *** $250 for an extended warranty. He now refuses to give me the receipt for the extended warranty because my brother owes him $200 or so. He said until he gets paid by my brother, he won't give me the warranty card/receipt. This is a breach of contract, as far as I am aware. My brothers dealings with this man, has nothing to do with me. I spoke to my brother about this, and he had no idea he owed *** anything. Aapparently some of his shingles blew off his roof a year after *** installed them, and *** came back to re-install them, and the way this warranty works is he is supposed to pay ***, and the warranty pays back the consumer. Anyways, my brother didn't know this, and *** has never contacted him. I even gave *** my brothers number, told him where he worked (my brother owns a dental practice so he isn't hard to find!!) and *** still hasn't contacted him, and simply expects me to do his dirty work. This is not professional, and I am not responsible for collecting funds for him. I just want what I paid for in full - my warranty!
