Review: I have a signed contract for a bathroom remodel. The work was to be completed on 10/06/14. As of today, it is almost 13 weeks past that date and the business owner, [redacted] will not give me a completion date and no work is being done. His workers are now stopping at my house randomly, not to do any work, but to keep moving the same supplies in and out of the bathroom in what they say is preparation for work to be done. Mr. [redacted] has made countless excuses and promises, yet the work is not done and he will not return emails or any requests for a completion date. To date I have paid him a total of $9,000.00 of a $10,500.00 contract and the bathroom is half done.Desired Settlement: I emailed Mr. [redacted] and requested that he complete the job in the next three weeks or refund my last payment of $3,000.00 so that I might use that to find a new contractor and complete the job. All of the tile work needs finished and a $1,500.00 glass shower door needs purchased and all fixtures need installed. All of this was part of our original contract. Mr. [redacted] has not responded to my email. I feel this request is more than fair.
