Review: I would like to make 5 complaints.1. On May 5th 2014, my 4 year old child, [redacted], was not properly supervised while she was participating in a school activity involving scissors. As a result she had enough time to cut her hair in three different places (front right, back, and top left).2. The teachers did not follow the school's own protocol of completing a written incident report that day. Nor did my wife or I receive a phone call or email from the school. We were informed of the incident through hear-say from our nanny who picks up our daughter after school.3. The teachers only expressed sorrow that the incident occurred but did not take any accountable for their lack of supervision. 4. No corrective action was taken by the school to improve their incident reporting procedures.5. No disciplinary action was taken by the school on the staff member(s) who was responsibility for supervising my child.Desired Settlement: We withdraw both [redacted] and her sister[redacted] from the LePort immediately because we lacked the confidence that the school can provide a safe environment for our children. We paid $2714.80 for May and we feel that we should be refunded a pro-ration of the tuition. Their last day was May 5th so our children attended 3 school days out of 22 in May. Therefore we believe we should be refunded 86% (19/22) of the tuition or $2,344.60.

I would like to clarify that we received a refund for our pre-paid June 2014 tuition. That refund was separately agreed upon and not related to this complaint to the Revdex.com. Our complaint is related to the pre-paid May 2014 tuition. This complaint was sparked from an safety incident that occurred on May 5th 2014 which was after the June refund was already agreed upon. I feel strongly we should receive this refund due LePort's negligence. This is supported by the fact that Le Port school was cited by [redacted] for not properly supervising my child while handling scissors based on their unbiased investigation of the incident. As a result, LePort was required to change their supervising procedures. This citation is on public records and can be verified by calling [redacted].
