We have used F.B. Wise for two different jobs on two different homes.
The first was a completely new roof, min lauding a full tear-down to the studs. They are now working diligently to locate and remedy a problem with our dryer vent.
From the very first contact with the main office until the workers clean up the yard after roof replacement, we have been nothing but thoroughly impressed with this company. Having F.B. Wise on our side gives us great peace of mind as home-owners.
Ms Betts, I will not continue to respond to Mr. [redacted]’s allegations as he is filing complaints with the DCP and the Attorney General’s Office as well.
As your office has said in writing to me, we made every good faith effort to resolve issues with Mr. [redacted].
These pictures are the first he has produced in the 15 months since he threw us out of his house, and he has had multiple HVAC contractors in there since. There is absolutely no way of even knowing if this is our work, and based on our 8 years of work, would be a first for us. We told DCP that we deny that these pictures are our work.
He also filed an intent to claim $100,000 in damages to our insurance company, and a year later his lawyer requested a letter denying the claim.
We are in very close contact with the DCP. They do not believe we are in violation of improper licensing.
This complaint is being submitted to you because the complainant has been dismissed by the CT Department of Consumer Protection and the CT Attorney General's office.
You can see his original complaint to the Department of Consumer...
Protection on attached file, "[redacted] - DCP Complaint [redacted]".
Our initial response letter is attached as file "[redacted] DCP LETTER [redacted]" we sent this letter with 93 pages of timelines and supporting documentation. I did not attach this because the file is 35MB large.
Last month, we were advised by the Department of Consumer Protection that Mr. [redacted] had been told the case had been closed with no action by the DCP but in December had urged them to look into the case again. His complaint, and the subsequent dismissal of the complaint by both the DCP and the Attorney General's office, are listed in email form on attached file, "DCP Letter...012414." Our response to his renewed allegations are in attachment "DCP Letter..[redacted]"
Any fair reading of the facts (existing email documentation and reports) shows that we did absolutely nothing but bent over backwards for Mr. [redacted] while he insisted on not paying a fair price.
