Legal Aid Document Services

Legal Aid Legal Services or Legal Aid Document Services is a scam. People please do not fall for this, what they do is to hire people as document preparers but they do not give them the tools nor they give them a base salary or contract. Basically for each 475.00 or 650.00 dollars that you paid, the person that works with you receives $30.00 dollars. The forms that you receive you can get them for free at the courthouse. The people on the phone, specially Mr.Charles are not authorized to give you any sort of legal advice they just want to sell you and overcharge you for something.

This is not the Legal Aid non profit organization, this is just scammers trying to rip you off. Either as a sub-contractor or as a customer. The person that prepares your documents does not receive much of what you pay and the rest goes for their packets.

Review: This company misrepresented themselves as the Legal Aid Society and also said they are a non-profit organization. They charged me $475 to provide legal services by paralegals. When I received the pay pal information, I realized that they are not part of the Legal Aid Society. I have not signed any paperwork to authorize their services and I have not received any services so I would like a refund. The paperwork they sent me was so full of typos, I have a hard time believing that any of them are paralegals. If they are paralegals, they need to go back to school and learn how to write. The paperwork they sent me is very inconsistent with what I was told over the phone so I have not signed anything.Desired Settlement: Refund the $475 charged to my debit card since they have not provided me with any services. They used pay pal to charge my debit card account. The pal pal information says that they are charging to appeal custody and they have not done that.
