About 5 months ago my truck got hit. I made a claim through my insurance to this day they have not returned my calls or emails regarding the matter. I would like to add I pay for full cover insurance on my vehicle. I have sent multiple emails and I also call 2 maybe 4 times a week and no response. I have left plenty of email and no response.
This company is operating against the law by insuring drivers who do not, nor have they ever, possessed a driver's license.
One of their insured caused an accident with my truck and when asked to see his driver's license and proof of insurance he showed his passport. We asked again for his driver's license and he said he didn't know he needed one. He showed us his proof of his insurance. He is listed as the insured and the policy is current.
Legacy Insurance Services is operating illegally for providing insurance on a driver without a driver's license.
I will also file this illegal policy practice to the board of Insurance.
If needed I will provide supporting documentation including the insured's name, policy number, and name and phone number of broker.
Legacy Insurance Services DOES NOT REQUIRE A DRIVER'S LICENSE!
Their insured driver who hit my car does not have a driver's license. He never has yet he's insured to drive. WAIT . . . WHAT . . . HOW IS THAT LEGAL??
Legacy told me that they accept a passport in lieu of a driver's license. WHAT??
No driver's license means there's a very good chance that he doesn't know the traffic laws or what his responsibilities are in the event of an accident.
On November 10, 2019 I was involved in a accident. The other person was at fault and carried Legacy Insurance. It took forever for them to send a adjuster out. When he did come the report was all wrong. I had a lien holder Legacy sent them a check and it bounced. I called Legacy to speak to the manager ***. He was one of the rudest people Ive ever encountered. When I asked him why did the check bounce he said it was none of my business. They never answer or return my phone calls, they still havent paid me any money.
I had a passenger in the car with me as well. I ended up having to file a claim with my insurance company.
My vehicle was hit by person insured with Legacy Insurance approximately one month ago. I was contacted with the estimate that it would take to repair my vehicle by one of the insurance adjusters ***. *** informed me, that due to the policy holder not having enough liability property damage to cover the cost of both vehicles involved in the accident, that I would need to take my vehicle to a repair shop to find out the total amount of damages. She then stated that they would not be able to cover the full amount of the estimate. This agency, has poor customer service from the adjusters/customer service representatives answering the phones to the supervisor ***. When I spoke with ***, he stated that even with the estimate it could take them up to 2 years to pay me out the damages done to my vehicle by their insured. How is this possible? We are now a month pass the accident, and still have no resolution for either myself or the other party involved. *** basically said that if one of us doesn't sign off on basically less money for damages then it could take up to 2 years to have our vehicles repaired.
I was involved in an accident, the at fault driver is insured through legacy insurance. Legacy has accepted liability, but is refusing to pay my medical bills, lost wages, towing and storing, and has given me a different story this time I have called to speak with them regarding this accident
This company is not paying for my car repairs. Colorado policy is to repair up to 100% of the value of the car. After that then its deemed a total loss.
The dealerships repair shop gave an estimate of repairs 11,000$ thats including the unknown damage. But the appraiser then came out and added his own "possible damage" to the report and bumped it up to almost 16000. The phone agents at the claims department stated that he did add on an amount after the shops estimate ( exposing that the appraiser did not fully apprais the car himself) making it now a total loss. So I go back to the dealership to get my belongings out of the car and the manager of the delearship said that the appraiser who came out TOOK MY CAR KEY AND LEFT! So if I cancelled the claim, the person would have technically stole my car key. Legacy insurance services inc does not call me back or respond to my questions. A employee laughed at me after about my car being totaled when I got into a 70mph wreck. She was Joking about my frustrastion towards them for them saying its totaled even before an appraiser came out. To end it the claims manager at the office verbally stated, "you pay 180 a month for insurance why would we pay Ten grand to fix your car". My car is valued at 18000$. And they wont tell me what they think the cash value is but went ahead and deemed it total anyway!!!! They skipped a big step in the claims process
I got insurance with Legacy through freeway. They are a complete scam as the agents never return your call. Also they added items on to my policy that I never asked for and when questioned about would not get a response. I paid $230.00 to get the policy started. I inquired about the fee and the first time was told it was an agent fee. I called back again and was told that it was for a roadside assistance thing that I never asked for. I was transferred to different location for 2 hours trying to resolve with no issue. No one call tell me why I was told my payment was do 06/15 and why my policy was canceled on 06/03. No one was able to get a hold of the agent to call me back. Stay away from Freeway/Legacy insurance. All they do is scam you out of your money and then keep you on hold forever hoping that you will hang up. NOT RIGHT PRACTIVES
I haven’t had my car in 3 months I had bought a new one so I got a new insurance with full coverage and everything I have been trying to cancel my policy with this company and they say I have to send in paper work which I have and still get charged 100 every month I’ve done everything they give me the run around I warn people don’t go here you won’t see a refund just money stolen from your pocket
My son was in a car accident 6 months ago and the other driver was at fault and has Legacy Insurance. They are refusing to pay for the damages even though the police report filed clearly indicates the other driver was at fault. We have tried several times to resolve this with the Legacy Insurance company and they are ignoring us.
I paid $186.14 for my insurance deposit and requested a refund because I cancelled my policy within days after because the deal with the finance company fell through, and they will not pay me my deposit back in full and claim I will only get back a fraction of the amount.
I was in a car accident 3/13/2019 (Wednesday) called my insurance right after I got home at noon filed a claim after I hung up with claims got a call from the adjuster saying they will move the car from the tow yard to a secure lot they didnt move it til Monday the following week I called Monday morning left a message asking what's going on, no call back Tuesday called again finally got a call a week later asked all the questions got to my car and said that they will not cover it because I was driving for doordash hung up with the adjuster told my parents they called back never replied finally the adjuster answered the phone and told me where my car is call them and the insurance hasnt released it yet 3/25/2019 beware horrible company read other reviews same problems

On 01/31/19 I walked in to Oasis Ins and was helped by the manager Nicole ***. I purchased car insurance through Legacy and paid $428.83 to start by policy with monthly payments of $436.03 that would go down to $340.03 if declaration page of previous insurance carrier was provided which was sent by email to nicole.***@freewayinsurance.com
On 02/23/19 I received a letter by mail from Legacy stating my monthly payment was raised to $436.03 due to them not receiving the declaration page I provided. I called and spoke with a rep. and was advised it was never sent, I went to speak with Nicole and she advised she forgot to upload my paper work, meaning that because her as a manager to Oasis not doing her job right me as a customer has to suffer the consequences and pay more for coverage.
I advised I would like to cancel my policy for the unprofessional service she advised to come back before payment was due again 03/02/19.
On 03/01/19 I called into Legacy to cancel payment for 03/02/19 and stop my policy with them do them raising the monthly price because of the error they made and not wanting to fix it and was told it had to be in writing. I walked into Oasis had rep. Rosa from Legacy on the line with my phone and as we sent my cancelation papers over so payment of $436.03 would not come out 03/02/19 she said it was 5:30mpm time for her to head home for the day and hanged up the call. Monday 03/04/19 I called Legacy to speak with a manager several times and was directed to voicemail, left messages and never got a call back. By 03/05 or 03/06 I spoke with a very rude Legacy manager Mary who advised I would be refunded tried to make complaint about rude employee Rosa and she became rude said I could compline with some else.
On 03/11/19 I called Legacy about refund check that was going to be sent was advised would only get $336 and change I was charged for cancelation fees even though I was given unprofessional service which is very unreasonable as a company to do.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! My son was in an accident 3 months ago and still has yet to get a check and/or even a return call. I don't understand how a company this bad is still in business and not shut down. Try calling them, both their 480 number and 888 number ring busy, no voice mail, no email, barely a website. This company should have a negative star rating.
In August I changed my address. In September I received a bill for double the amount I was paying before - a jump from $73 to $150/month. I was not notified of the substantial payment increase. I signed into my account in October multiple times and it showed I had a zero balance. I called the company to confirm this and they confirmed I didn’t owe anything. I had no warning for cancellation and was sent a letter in the mail stating they canceled my car Insurance policy. I called the company to discuss this and spoke to a supervisor. I was informed that I did not owe a balance. I received a letter in the mail on 12/5/18 stating that I have a $60.46 balance owed and this is the final notice. This is also the only notice I’ve received. To summarize the problem: This company’s payment system is flawed resulting in errors that I am unfairly held responsible for with little to improper notification. They are unable to set up autopay after several attempts to set it up. This has resulted in unjustifiable late fees and cancellations which I should not be held liable for. When I called to inquire about my cancellation they were adamant that I had a zero balance and now a month later I have received a surprise bill stating that I still have an unpaid balance. I do not feel responsible for anymore payment.
This insurance company is trying to charge me a bill that was not billed out to me. This bill was from june and they continued my policy instead of informing me of this bill due. Now I am canceling and now they want to tell me that I never paid junes bill?? Are you kidding me? Then they go to explain that they bill a month back so I am now being charged $600 in one month all because they bill a month behind. I called the manager and tried to get answers and all she said was that she dint know why I was never sent a bill for that month and that its the way they do things after talking to her for 17min she tells me she can't talk to me anymore and that she needs to hang up.this place has no customer service skills they dont know how to treat their costumers and they are ripping people off for car insurance
My daughter was involved in an accident with a Legacy customer on April 9, 2018, the legacy customer was found to be at fault and was considered a total loss, this part of the process was stellar. The problems began. I have a Lienholder, a check was sent to them on April 17, 2018, the check was returned to legacy which legacy resent to the lienholder on 04/25/2018. All previous attempts to settle the debt was sent through, USPS mail; on the third attempt, I requested from my adjuster *** ro have the payment sent through a secured method, where the delivery of the payment could be tracked and verified, I even offered to pay for it myself. I was advised that her m***ger would need to approve this request, I was promised a callback from my adjuster *** and to date have not received a call back; I have also attempted to outreach and speak with ***'s supervisor, also I have not gotten a response. In the meantime, the car is not drivable, and the balance of the settlement that I need to purchase a new vehicle is not being sent in large part of the hold up of the delivery of the lienholder check. For everyday since 04/09/2018, I am paying interest on a vehicle that I can not drive.

March 27th I was involved in a collision by a driver who illegal drove down the center of the median while I was making a left turn. I have a police witness and report to support my claim. I submitted all the proper documents to my insurance company USAA. Legacy insurance (the offenders insurance) refuses to answer phone calls from me and my insurance company in order to collect money for the damages. Legacy insurance purposely evades in order to avoid paying. I have a police witness and police report which I submitted to legacy insurance to prove that I'm not at fault. The offender even got cited for the incident. Please review the horrifying reviews on this insurance company.
As with many of the complaints that I've read on the Revdex.com, I too am currently stuck waiting on Legacy Insurance Services to make good on the claim. As of now, the accident was 4 weeks ago, and they were initially responsive, sending an estimator out to review the damage. After that point in time, we are solely responsible for contacting them, and they are not contacting us. They do not respect their documented claims philosophy, and are trying every known stall tactic. "We haven't spoken with our client yet." "We haven't received the police report yet." "Even though our client was cited, we may not believe that he was at fault." "Can you get additional documents for us?" "Do YOU have contact information for our client, as we don't have a current phone number." They are trying like anything to stall, avoid, evade, and every other dishonest tactic in avoiding either paying the claim or fixing the vehicle.
I was in a accident with a legacy insurer who back into my car at stop light police report was file driver admit fault on 10/5/17 I call the claims rep for a week Adjuster finally call me on 10/11/17 he came out took pictures on 10/12/17 he stated he would upload pictures to he claim rep the adjuster call me on 10/14/17 have been calling leaving voice message left message with a manager on 10/27/17 he called that same day was very rude stated that is was under investigation and that they were not going to pay for the damages because from the pictures that the car can be driven and call me liar so Really if you have damage to your car and it can be driven that means you don't have a claim Customer Service is just very rude they will not give me estimate on the damages that occur on the car I been waiting for that also because Auto body shop wants the info
