We had been in touch initially to work with the customers on an open balance that was never discussedI had reached out to them after this project to touch base and find out what was going on with the gas lineMy fitter had a couple things he had to do to finish up and have the gas permit closedI did in fact keep in touch with them as they were in breach of their contract with usMy dealings are as follows:
April 8th: I reached out to try and touch base on their fireplace.
I didn't hear anything back until I texted her again on April 26th: Please note, I was not being unpleasant and was still treating them with respect even after their reluctance to allow us to finish up and collect our balance.
Not one company allows their customers to idle along this wayWe were being as appeasing as possible and allowed them to take their timemonths later I received these messages from them.
At this time they claimed we had not done certain things, again something they are in no position of telling usYet they have not allowed us to complete the jobI asked multiple times to let me know when the fireplace would be there and I would have the gas fitter return to finish up these small things and have the permit closed.
The customer is in no position to understand the permitting process or what the gas fitter had to still complete at this timeShe also claims to have paid for the services yet has an open balance with himI just don't understand their sudden stance against us at this point.
Ive attached included another email chain below for your records.
I appreciate your time and help on this matterPlease let me know f you need anything else from me at all.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Although the contractor feels we are unqualified to review the work done we have had their work reviewed by other gas fitters who have agreed that the work provided was sub par and not valued at the price paid by us for said work. We are requesting a partial refund for the partial job done and the rest of the work will be completed by another qualified firm
