Ms***, It is to great disappointment that I received this complaint through the Revdex.com. I apologize if you feel *** was condescending because *** has been a strong advocate for you and your case. Our customer experience is very valuable to our company and that is why we
follow up with a personal phone call and have instructions throughout the entire process from the web portal. After further research we were able to recover not only the requested documents, but over half of a terabyte (153,files) worth of data from the drive. We recovered the data you listed as critical, so I am confused on why you feel we have not recovered the information you had requested. Could you please clarify what we did not recover? I also understand that our customer service provided you a 5% refund, which you accepted. Now I am seeing this complaint through the Revdex.com, which I feel is very unfair. We have been in business since and this is the first complaint we have received through the Revdex.com. I am willing to offer you an additional 15% refund for your negative experience, but please understand we have done everything to recover as much data from your damaged drive as possible. I will contact customer service to refund you the additional 15% by close of business tomorrow Best regards,*** ***President

I am rejecting this response because:Thank you for your quick responseYou asked that I clarify which files were not recovered; as I explained at length to *** as well as in my original complaint, thousands of files critical to my work were not recoveredI discovered they were missing from the folders I marked critical upon receiving my mediaWhen I indicated certain folders were critical to the recovery, I assumed Flashback Data would understand that the files inside them were critical, not just the folders themselvesA primary part of my complaint is that *** told me it was wrong for me to assume I'd get back the files within those critical folders, and not just the folders themselves, because I did not list every single file within the foldersMy original Revdex.com complaint already detailed why it would have been impossible for me to list thousands of individual files. As I explained on the phone, I justified the high cost of data recovery because image files within the folders I marked critical would have generated future incomeAs thousands of those images were not in fact recovered, I do not think Flashback Data should consider the recovery a success and charge me anywhere near the quoted price
Regards,
*** ***
