Lee Design & Interiors

In early May 2018, I hired Lee Design & Interiors to renovate my newly purchased home and to build an addition. I met with both Mr. Josh L and Mrs. Barbara L to discuss the details of the project. Both of them walked the property on several occasions (separately) to ascertain the extent of the project and to give me a realistic cost estimate and timeline. During the walk, I expressed my desire to have the project done in 90 days, and inquired if my timeline was too aggressive, and both Mr. Lee and Mrs. Lee stated that they could meet my timeline. Mr. Lee added that at times, delays can occur, but that any delays experienced would not cause a severe departure from my desired timeline. As of today, December 12, 2018, we are 210 days into the project, and Lee Design & Interior is no closer to completing this renovation project and delivering my home to me. Lee Design & Interiors has failed to: 1)effectively manage the project, 2)schedule county inspections, 3) ensure workers have the necessary materials, and 4) consistently staff the project to ensure that work needed to complete the project is carried out. Additionally, Lee Design & Interiors has exhibit poor communication and customer service. I have requested weekly schedule updates and walk-thrus and up until 4 weeks ago, this did not consistently happen when I demanded a change in project management. I have heard every excuse from Mr. and Mrs. Lee regarding the delays, but the project continues to be stalled. I need for this project to be completed so that I can move into my home. I am a disabled person with serious mobility issues, and this delays are beginning to impact me physically. I purchased this single level home because living in a 3-level townhome is seriously impacting my physical health. These delays cannot go on and I need immediate resolution on this matter. Thank you.
