Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/11/08) */ Our customer service contacted the customer on Wed 11/to let them know we would be in her area of delivery on Thursday 11/3, between 11:30am and 2:pmThe customer then stated that they would be gone from 11:am to 1:pm due to a prior appointmentCustomer service then stated that our driver would most likely be out of her area by the time she returned but that we could try to deliver to a neighbor, a different address such as a business or call she or someone else minutes ahead of time to see if they could meet our driverThe customer stated that none of those options would workOur last option to the customer was to hold the package and redeliver when we were back in her areaTypically that is once a week but due to the high volume of holiday shipments we were to receive on 11/her delivery could be pushed back longer than usualWe were scheduled to be back in the customers area on Wed 11/but our customer service rep might not have relayed that info clearlyAfter customer service spoke with the manager regarding the customer we were able to reschedule the delivery for the next dayThe end result was that we did deliver her two packages on Friday, 11/4, one day after her original scheduled delivery
