Review: I brought my boots in for new heels, just heels. When I got my boots back there were rips down the front, the back, the toe area and a hole in the fabric at the top! I ask the owner what happened, he claimed the fabric was dry and that I brought it in that way, yet! The other boot was pristine, exactly the way the other boot was before I took it in for heels. He refused to take any responsibility for anything. Now who in the world would spend [redacted] for new heels on a boot that was trashed and the other not? He is a crook!Desired Settlement: I want him to pay for my boots, I will keep them for evidence for anyone who would like to see them.

Review: I took a very expensive, beautiful pair of boots to this shop and specified that the calves be stretched. The owner did not seem to be paying attention and so I reiterated this. He shushed me and told me that he knew what he was doing. When I next went to wear the boots I realized the foot, not the calves had been stretched, effectively ruining my expensive boots. I returned to ask the owner to correct his mistake and stretch the calves (I didn't even bother to ask him to replace my boots which are now too big in the footbed because I figure everyone makes a mistake now and then). I showed him my receipt showing that no notation about where to stretch was written. However, he told me that it was written on his copy, although he couldn't show me this. He told me he never makes mistakes and refused to make the correct stretch unless I paid him again. I am disgusted with his attitude.Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for my boots ($250) as well as a refund of the $18 that I paid.
