I am displeased with the installation after observing leakage during a rainstorm.
I sent a written letter to cancel the agreement per the instructions in the agreement.
The regional manager *** called and basically said there is no solution other than that the product is installed, we are not removing it.
I followed the agreement directions.
They are welcome to come and remove the product.
They will need to re-install my previous covers.
Please be advised that Leaf Filter disputes this complaint. Customer signed an agreement on 3/17/20. Customer's contract signed in good faith by both parties details 3 days after signing but before commencement of work. Customer allowed Leaf Filter to install product on home on 3/18/20, negating this grace period. Further the signed contract stipulates that customer would need to pay for product and time in the event that at no fault of Leaf Filter and after installation the customer decided to cancel contract. Further, Leaf Filter inspected work on home 3/20/20. Customer's expectations of full refund and installation of non-Leaf Filter product after good installation and signed contract in good faith, is unreasonable. Please see attached pictures showing good install. Leaf Filter installed product and signed contract with homeowner in good faith, we also stand by our warranty. Thank you.
I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
After the installation, I came home from an engagement. The installer finished while I was away. It was now raining, so I told my wife I was going to see the results of the install of the Leaf Filter product.I was appalled to find the water issues in my attached pictures.Water rolled over the gutter and leaked.There was leakage into my soffits. A downspout was leaking like a sieve. This was not in one spot but in all my gutters.My old covers did not even leak this much.My old gutter covers were disposed of by the Leaf Filter crew, although I told them NOT to throw them away. (Over $400 in product, over $2000 installed)The “inspector” they sent out was here to defend the installation. He did nothing to address my complaint.I attempted to attach these pictures to my complaint, but I could not.(they are attached now)The pictures show various leaks all through my gutter system.
