To your credit, I think the product works very well and even recommended it to my neighbors, who recently obtained a quote and had the exact same products installed on their new home next door (Job HOU19313). To my amazement, they paid only $4,300 for the same product. I was shocked, to say the least.
So my question to you all is why were we get charged almost $5,000 more for the same product and services? Right now my wife and I feel like we were taken advantage of by a very slick sales job. We are both retired and this extra cost hit us hard.
Please look at both contracts. Both homes are new builds, almost exactly the same size. Please explain why the large price disparity and let us know how your company plans to right this wrong.
Read the fine print. Check on prices before you comment. The salesperson was very aggressive.
We agreed and installation was scheduled for the next day which voided the three day cancellation clause. By the way, that was never mentioned during the price negotiation.

Well here we go! We made an appointment to have someone come out from Leaffilter to give us and estimate for installing new gutters and guards. After about an hour of going over product we came down to the price for over $14,000.00. Now we do NOT live in a mansion by no means but live in a 2100 sq ft. home. We of course were shocked and said we can not do that price. So after a coupon, a call to the boss man and a special flexible scheduling discount the price came down to $9,500. Still high and we asked the salesman if we could take 12 hours to think about it and he said that this price may go up because the specials/coupons would go away and are only good for that day. So we agree on 9500.00. After he left we did some research and decided to cancel our contract with LeafFilter which we had 3 days to do. They called us back and offer a deeper discount if we would reconsider down to 6,400.00 which we laughed. Why toy with us and not give us the best price up front, if they would have they may have had our business. Oh another phone call to say that if we just wanted the gutters we could get them for 2400.00. Do the math...CRAZY! Needless to say do your homework and do not be afraid to walk away from a high pressure sales tactics! We found another company for even less than the 2400.0 and are purchasing the gutters (almost the exact same thing for less than 600.00) so, 14,000 down to 3,00, no brainer!
