We purchased new gutters & gutter guards. The original install date was 10/21/19 but we asked our sales associate, Michael, to push the install back 1.5 weeks from 10/26/19; in other words, early November 2019. On 10/24/19, we arrived *** to see the gutters had been installed. We contacted Michael to let him know of the error & to have the gutters removed because the soffits, fascia & siding work was beginning the next day, 10/25/19. Any gutters on the house would be discarded.
LeafFilter sent a team to uninstall the gutters. We asked the gutters be put somewhere they would not be damaged but the team placed them on the concrete, wherever they were removed. We called LeafFilter to come back to move the gutters because we knew siding work was starting and did not want to risk damaged gutters. LeafFilter sent their team back to move them but they dropped them in a pile in the backyard. I let the team know that if any of the gutters were damaged, I'd expect them replaced.
Once siding work was completed, I contacted Michael and let him know the gutters could be re-installed. The re-installation team arrived but they were not prepared. They asked for towels to wipe down the gutters & had to make a few trips to and from *** in order to complete the project. When they were done, we were not happy with the workmanship of a miter, as compared to the initial install and let them know.
The regional manager, Steve, called and said he'd personally fix it. He sent Norman instead, who added 2 extra screws, took pictures and said Steve would call us back. We still weren't happy. Steve called us & said he could see why we weren't happy and again said he would come personally to fix it. He sent Dmitri instead, who just looked at the miter, suggested using a box miter but he didn't have the right size, so he couldn't fix it. Steve last texted us on December 3, 2019 saying he'd get it fixed at some point and we haven't heard from him since.
We believe resolution has been executed in full.

The work was never done. They were a no show. I have called them numerous times. Their response...we’ll check into it, we’ll get back to you, we’ll send you a check. Nothing. This has been going on for a month.
Now I am receiving bills from the credit card company requesting payment.
We believe resolution has been executed in full.

There has been no contact between the business and myself. They always respond by saying someone will get back to you but no one returns my calls. I have not received the $138 deposit I gave them.

Lousy installation, called for supposed warranty service many times. Home office is useless. Always transfers me to a guy named Steve in NJ. Had to hound him to get a response. He made promises to return calls he never returned, send people he never sent. Finally, after a month of this nonsense he guarantees he's scheduled a service call. No show. On top of all this the gutters still collect debris enough to require a gutter cleaning. Total waste of time and money. Nothing these people said was true.
We are working on re-scheduling the service with the customer due to poor weather conditions.
On 8/28/2019 my husband and I hired Leaf Filter of North Jersey located at New
Jersey to replace our gutters. Their workers came out on 8/31 and completed two of five gutters. Upon
further inspection, the workers told my husband they needed a taller ladder to access a section of the
roof. The workers told us they would be back the next day with the appropriate ladder to finish the
remaining gutters. No one ever showed up nor called us. My husband called the sales rep and the
scheduling department several times over the week with no success. After many calls, he was finally told
someone would complete the work on 9/12.
I spoke with Steve from scheduling on 9/11 and he assured me someone would arrive between 1 and 3
pm the next day (9/12). Again no one showed nor called. That afternoon I contacted the corporate office
to speak with a manager. I was told by the young lady who took my call that there were no managers
available but that an email would be sent to the 3 managers in the North Jersey area informing them of
my request to speak with someone. I asked for the names of the managers, but she said all she could tell
me was that she was sending an internal email to the regional managers. I was also given a local number
to call but reached an answering service. As of 9/30, we had not heard anything from any representative,
and no one showed to complete the work on our gutters.
On Thursday 10/3 two representatives from Leaf Filter returned to our home to take pictures of the
incomplete work. One worker stated that he would need to go up to the roof to gain the best view for
photos. After taking the photos, the workers stated they would have to purchase supplies to complete
the work and that they would return the next day. They did show up but the rainy weather did not
permit safe access to the gutter areas. Again, they promised they would return the following day. A
week has passed, and no one has come

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID , and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me with reservations.
As with dealing with this company nothing they say or write is followed through on. I spoke with Steve (Regional Manager) and we initially agreed upon the 11/7. I rescheduled for 11/8 between 9 am and 12 pm. The company did not arrive until after 3 pm. As you are aware it now gets darker earlier than before. The company had to postpone some of the work until 11/9 and I could not be there for the conclusion of the installation. So I am not sure what was done correctly. I do know that my roof is not in the same condition as before they started work. I have aluminum slates or metal slates where some of my shingles should be and in addition they are white. My experience with this company has been a disaster. The work my be finished according to them but my opinion of their workmanship and professionalism is that I am totally disgusted.

My mom and I met with the Leaf Filter representative, Ms. Yvonne B, 732-207-0212, back in July of 2019. Leaf Filter surveyed my property 3 times Ms. B also surveyed the property and took measurements. She bought to my attention and informed me that all of the wood that looked like it needed a paint job was rotted wood and would have to be replaced. They would repair the broken gutter, fix the spout and use some of the existing gutters for this job. She said the property would be cleared of all material and garbage when the job was complete. She assured us that because of the seamless gutters being used, we would not have problems with leakage with their product. We went over their products and services and decided to do business with Leaf Filter. The final cost of the job was based on the replacement of the old wood, the new gutter, spout, garbage removal, no leaks and the installation of the gutters. We signed the contract and gave her a check for $5,000.00 as a deposit. She informed me that I would have to get some shrubbery removed from the front of the house and I had that removed before the workers were scheduled to come. The workers were scheduled to come on August 6th. They showed up and removed my gutters from the house and did not return the next day. After many calls, the workers came to "finish the job" and wanted an extra $500. I called Ms. B on Friday, 9/6/19 to ask why the old wood that we paid for was still on the house, the garbage was still on the property, parts of the gutter was left on the property, the spout was not fixed, another spout was left dangling from my house, the right corner gutter leaked when it rained and I expected a return call to recalculate the cost of the job since all of the old wood is still on the house. She never returned my call but called my mom asking for more money on 9/23/19, not to discuss the problems that I spoke about. WE WERE SCAMMED!!! We were charged for work that was not done!
We have inspected the customers concerns and we are working on our next step towards resolution.

All aspects of our contract have yet to be fulfilled. This has been going on since November 2018, and we have contacted the company on several occasions. We are still in need of promised downspouts as well as gutters on top floors. They initially did not inform us that the top floors were incomplete and we did not know until we realized that they are overflowing. The company never followed through with a response in the beginning of 2019. After several contacts were made a service man responded finally in summer and informed us that they needed taller ladders. We have since been waiting for them to come back and were assured by service manager Steve that he would take care of it and now have left several unanswered messages to Steve. Additionally our contract states that our credit card was to be charged upon complete job. It is now almost a year since our card was charged and I believe this is fraud.
We believe resolution has been executed in full.
Installation of product did not follow any of advertised process and services I paid for and product is not performing Job *** installed June 15 2019. Sales person, ads, and contract all specified complete cleaning of gutters, checking all gutters and resealing as needed, checking alignment of all gutters and fixing as needed, no disruption of shingles on roof to avoid warranty issues - major selling points and reason I selected this company. Day of install local gutter cleaner rolled up and began slapping product up while just wiping gutter interiors. No checking slope of gutters, no cleaning gutters or checking seal with water. I halted them and called both salesperson and service, who responded with excuses. After a number of assurances I let them proceed. Told by service person on phone would send an inspector at a later date, but they refused to come on site that day. Never heard from him again or from inspector. After recent rains problems now realized. Water sitting in my gutters due to sagging and poor slope, gutters leaking at joins and ends because of bad seal, my shingles disturbed as part of the install causing curling and covering the system at places because they did not re-align the gutters to accommodate the system. In addition to the leaking gutters, I have water shooting off gutters instead of into them. Due to the shingle issues I will now be subject to ice dams and other issues. I had disconnected leaders after their install that I found once it rained; I reported this to sales and service and they never responded and I had to fix myself. After recent calls they scheduled someone to service for Wednesday morning 7/31; no show after 3 hours, I called them back, service guy calls and tells me he's not showing up, and then proceeded to tell me why I don't have a problem. I have contacted this company through several means; they just keep telling me what I want to hear and not showing up. I’ve spent $3200 and they have failed at every level.
We went out on 8/9/19 for an inspection. We are now reviewing our photo's from the inspection in order to move towards our next plan of action.

I am rejecting this response because:
I spoke to Leo from LeafFilter early in the week of 8/5. We agreed that he would come out Saturday 8/10 or his service manager Nick would. I stressed that I would be happy to allow them to inspect the issues, but I did not want remediation done at the same time given the extent of the issues and my desire to have the entire system removed and installed properly. I was assured this would be the case. The very nice Nick did arrive on Saturday as scheduled. I was however very surprised when after spending time on my property, he then declared all problems were resolved and that he had taken pictures. This was not my agreement with Leo, and not knowing all of this remediation was supposedly being done, I had no way to in fact review and supervise that work. Nick was very nice and also seemed very competent and understanding. But again, this company keeps making statements and agreements with me and does not live up to them. This is extremely concerning if I am locked into a lifetime warranty with them. I cannot understand why they just don't honor these agreements. I'm a reasonable person but they are doing very unreasonable things. This is just wasting time and effort of everyone and not resolving my issues. I'm sure they are going to say that after looking at their pictures everything is ok, but again, I agreed to an inspection and was clear that remediation was not to be done until after the inspection and we had discussed remediation.

I signed an agreement with Leaf Filter North being financed by ***. The amount is $6, 643 with payments starting in October for $122 per month. When I tried to log on the Terms and Conditions were not available. there was an error message. I contacted the salesperson Alex at *** I told him via text that this was unacceptable. He had a worker come out and install the filter right away. I contacted Leaf Filter and they had no record of my installation. I contacted the bank and was told that my paperwork was being mailed. I received the paperwork today with an interest rate of 28%, not the 12% quoted. Please advise
We did confirm when we spoke to the customer she has the proper terms. We believe this is now resolved.

Be aware!!! In the beginning the people are nice and all about great respectable business and they pride themselves about being in the Revdex.com, but trust they are not who they say they are. If this product and service was some what of an average cost. It wouldn't have bothered me as much but we are talking about thousands of hard working American dollars. So here is my experience with leaf filter. I had a appointment between 9 to 12 noon. 12.30 no show no call, 1:.00pm no show no call. I called the service office and they directed me to a guy name Mr. L, who is supposedly the service manager. Now I understand things happen, but what I will not expect is being lied to this so call "manager" lied saying he attempted to call me and cancel my appointment at 11am that was a blatant lie because all phone especially cell show miss calls and so forth to add insult to injury he wasn't even apologetic at all and wouldn't even let me finish my sentence which I at least, heard him out with his joke of an excuse. Afterwords I called up the main corporate office in Ohio to speak to the manager to make a complaint. A women named, Ms. C, who said she was the manger. Didn't really have much to say and her half as apology was more insulting and as expected, nothing was really done. She didn't even try to reassure me of anything only that some other "managers" Mr D or Z was going to contact me. I'm not that surprise that no body would call me back.
At this time I have a problem with the leaf filter gutter protection which was sold to me by their salesman on sept. 22 2018. It is not performing as I was told and guaranteed . After the installation of the filter it took one rain storm that showed imperfections with this product. I had called customer service and they sent someone out to fix the problem but to no avail. The problem is that the product does not live up to its warranty, guarantee and especially in the brochure which states in their asked questions part that Leaf filter will never clog and also on another page it states that there would be no ice dams to contend with but unfortunately at this time I am dealing with overflow from ice dams. In the past after I had called customer service and they came out and accomplished nothing. I had to go on my roof with a blower to solve the clogging problem. Also where there is a valley where 2 roofs come together and it definitely over flows and causes damage to the fascia boards which is a constant problem. As of this date we just had 6 inches of snow and I have over flow caused by ice dams which the salesman guaranteed would not happen. Unfortunately most of what the salesman stated from the brochure is not happening. I strongly feel the price of 4,768.00 was extreme since it only took the one installer approximately 4 hrs. The lifetime warranty means absolutely nothing if the product has flaws ! I am currently maintaining this problem myself and requesting compensation.
We are scheduled for 3/19/19. If the customer should need anything further they can reach our Service Department @

I am rejecting this response because:They haven’t explained what they intend on doing. Again leaf Filter doesn’t work as portrayed in their brochure. I don’t know how I can explain myself any further. They have visited my house 3 times and haven’t resolved anything. Again I feel I overpaid for a system that doesn’t work.

A salesman for Leaf Filter Gutter Protection, Bob Nicol, visited our home on December 10, 2018 and provided a written list of the services to be performed. On December 14, 2018 an installer arrived at our home with no company ID or any company markings on his truck. In addition he did not speak or understand English. As he began to install the leaf filters he proceeded to remove the spikes that held the gutters to my house. I pointed to the spikes and motioned to re-install them. He called Leo, the production manager. Leo would not speak with me. As the installation progressed the installer failed to completely clean the gutters and down spouts as written in the contract. Mold remains in the gutters. Furthermore, he lifted the shingles on my roof to place the leaf filters, another violation of the contract. There remains mold in the gutters which was to be removed pursuant to the contract. I repeatedly asked that Leo call me but he never did. I called Bob Nicol and expressed my disappointment that he "took us" on this job in that he misrepresented in writing what would be done. My roof waranty has been rendered invalid due to the installer lifting the shingles. I paid the bill in full but I hope that this behavior will not be perpetrated on future customers. A proper installion was expected based on the saleman's representations. This did not happen.
We believe resolution has been executed in full. If the customer needs anything further they can reach the Service Department at
The salesman talked a good game but everything after that went downhill. The installers never cleaned the gutters which happen to be clogged so water is spewing everywhere every time it rains. I’ve called at least 6 times now and they keep promising to call back and they dont. I even had them scheduled to come fix it and nobody bothered to show up or call. workmanship is guaranteed for 1 year but they are not responding to requests for a service call. very disappointing and frustrating. in addition, screws were left around the property that my kids could have stepped on. not a good business practice.
We spoke to the customer and we are scheduled to go out to the customers home on 9/11/18.
My wife and I had a salesman from Leaf Filter come out and give us an estimate, he went over all the features and benefits of the product, as well as all the additional perks that come with their service, such as fixing existing gutter and fascia issues, and installing extra screws on the front gutters to hang Christmas lights on. We decided to go with them, and the installer showed up a couple days later, I was not home at the time of the install, however, when I arrived home, I noticed that the sofit under my second floor roof was hanging down and that was not the way it was prior to installation. A couple days later, we had heavy rains and started getting water inside my dining room which has never happened before, it appears as the though the water was getting behind the gutter and into the sofit where it is hanging down. My wife called Customer Service and they had someone come out to take a look, he blamed the leak on something totally unrelated and looked at the sofit. He said that he would have to come back with wood to fix the fascia and re attach the gutter and sofit, at this time he also removed the leaf filter product from that gutter and threw them behind my shed. It has now been well over a month and multiple phone calls later and this person has still not come back to fix the problem and reattach the Leaf Filter product. We leave them messages and nobody gets back to us, we would like to get the product and service that we paid a lot of money for.
We have been trying to reach the customer on the number provided, but have not yet received a call back. We are willing to assist the customer with any concerns and will be happy to work towards a resolution once we hear back.

I am rejecting this response because:In regards to the above case, this has not yet been resolved, I apologize for not responding to the claim as I am not that familiar with how the process works. A representative from Leaf Filter contacted us and spoke with my wife over a week ago, however, he said that he needed to figure a few things out and would get back to us in 24 hours with a resolution. It has been over a week and still no followup. This has been the problem all along with this company, they will get in touch with us, then say they will call us back, or come to our house to resolve the issue, however, that never happens. Can you please re-open this case? Or do I need to file another complaint? Please advise me what the next steps are.

This company installed leaf filters all over my gutters and gave me a life time warranty. But it is overflowing at two spots and ruing my window. I made several phone calls but they never show up to fix the problem. It has ruined my window and may ruin my basement because water overflows the bay window and falls near the basement.

On January 26th 2018, I met with a Leaffilter representative by the name of Andrew Mi (Andy). Andy came to my home and presented photos of the Leaffilter product, company ratings and their company guarantee. We signed an agreement on what would be completed and that I would not be home at the time of the installation. Andy was to e-mail me the documents to sign - cardholder invoice for my loan. On Monday January 29th, 2018, (day of installation), my friend was staying at my home. The Leaffilter employee demanded that friend sign the invoice (cardholder signature and agreement). My friend declined, and the Leaffilter employee refused to leave the property until a signature was given, as he would not get paid. He advised my friend to sign her name in place and made it clear that he knew he was asking for a signature from a person who was not listed on the account.
After signing to, my friend immediately called me about this suspicious exchange. I contacted Andy via text and e-mail on Monday at 1:23pm to straighten out the confusion and unprofessional behavior of Leaffilter employee. Andy responded on Tuesday at 8:07am that he would have the install manager handle it. I informed Andy that his employee did not use the hose provided to check for potential water clogs. I received no response from anyone at Leaffilter.
On Wednesday morning I inspected the work and at 10:02am I texted Andy pictures that show a poorly done job, a filter that looks warped and misaligned. Andy responded that he would forward them for me. On Thursday I received a call from the installation manager, Leo. Leo assured me that he would send a technician on Sunday February 4th. On Sunday, I waited at home all day and no one from Leaffilter called or showed. A simple phone call saying that they couldn't make their scheduled appointment regarding a $1500 job would have been highly appreciated.
Due to the gutter misalignment, the rain water does not flow and I am worried of potential clogging.
Our Regional Project Manager spoke to the customer and arranged service to address the concerns. We executed service on 2/9/18 and the customer is now satisfied.
Manager Leo and two installers acknowledged poorly done service, corrected the issue and did all the job that was in the contract/agreement. Thank you.

In April 2017 I had a LeafFilter salesman come to my home he explained that this system would look beautiful and that I would never have to climb up on a ladder again to mess with the gutters. The 1st time they came (4 workmen) they removed the gutters added the filter system and reattached the gutters using ugly metal straps. Even before they were done I told I was not happy at all with the straps they explained that's the way they have to do it. The next day I call to complain that metal straps can be seen from the road I'M NOT HAPPY left message after message for the PROJECT MANAGER no responds. I then called customer serice and the project manager finally calls me back and sends a guy out. 2nd time out workman comes to my house looks at the job tells me in order to make it look better will put block behind gutter he runs out to homedepo buy 2x4 and some paint he comes back cleans up and comes back the next day to installs the cut down 2x4s (BLOCKS) pieces so that there is a 4" gap between the roof line and the gutter so when it rains water runs down off roof and behind gutter instead of into gutter ALSO blocks which were not treated wood was installed without begin painted. Paint was left so that I could paint it but that means I'll have to get on a ladder every other year. So I called again and complained to Project Manager no response until I call customer service another guy is sent out and he looks it over with me I show him what I see wrong including the pitch on the gutters begin off guy calls the
The manager and he tells me he'll send some guys out to fix it over the weekend I tell him no because I was working so he says no Robles he'll make it for Monday or Tuesday that was three months ago. I've called customer service a least twice with no response. Yesterday it snowed today I have icicles hanging from the back side of the gutters
We have reviewed the customer's case and reached out to him. We have agreed to the terms of a resolution and are scheduled to execute next week.

I am rejecting this response because: Workmen came Friday Jan 12th and came back on Sun Jan 14th took down put up shorter blocks and then wrapped the in white aluminum before reattaching gutters so that blocks and spaces can't be seen seamless and beautiful. But when they got to the last run on the rear of the house they dropped the ball again pitch was corrected but they did not block it out and wrap it like they did the other runs and sowed it into the molding. Why could they just finish it this last section of run off like all of the others and be done. still not happy. WOULD LIKE THEM TO FINISH THE JOB ONCE AND FOR ALL. DO THAT LAST RUN.

We have scheduled the additional follow up service with the customer for 1/28/18.

On August 3, 2017 we made a contract with this company, to change the gutters on the downpipes from my house and The garage. They start the job on August 5, 2017, and they were supposed to finish on August 8. The first day that was raining, the gutters was leaking all over the house. We Call the company with no solution, in till I visit the office in New Jersey and showing my pictures and video I took on my phone, so you can see the poor job the company has done. The manager his name is Dave, he promised someone to come to my house to fix the problem, and the next day September 5, the workers showed up to my house at 9:30 AM to start fixing the leaking, it was a raining day, and the workers finished around 2:00 in the afternoon, telling me that maybe because the raining the silicone is not going to glue perfect, If That happens call back to the company again to seal it. The next raining days, our house still is leaking, not as much as before, but the gutters is still leaking. We called the company in 3 or 4 different phones, every day , and today on September 18, 2017 nobody from the company call us or showed up to reseal the gutters, and we paid a total of $14,711,00 for the whole job, which isn't done yet. The workers used my patio table as a work table, putting heavy tools and sliding gutters materials, leaving the tables with scratches, and using my patio chairs to use it as a ladder, leaving also three chairs scratched on the arms, and the sides. I showed the pictures to the Manager to see how there workers works on private houses.
