I have had an awesome experience with LeafFilters and am contemplating a bathroom update from Leaf Home Safety Solutions. Leaf Home Solutions is a company you can trust.

We were told that all we had to do was call if we wanted anything changed. There was one gutter that we felt was not going to work with our roof. I sent an email a month ago and asked if someone could come to change it. We have heard nothing. We also had damage to our new roof from their contractors and the roofers are suppose to be getting compensated for having to repair the roof. So far the roofing company has not been paid.

I placed an order and the company was a no show. I called many time to find out the status and was told someone would get back to me and no one called back. I call once again and demanded a discount to continue our relationship and the Chicago Manager refused to work with me. He said he rather eat the cost then give me a discount and cancelled the order.

Leaf Filter during install damaged the umbrella of a patio furniture set purchased brand new, not sold individual pieces totaling a little over $100. An employee met me at the property. Agreed there was damage to the aluminum of the umbrella. Bent the rod back into position and acted as if this was an acceptable resolution. I disagreed, requested replacement. After speaking to his superior, he offered me $20 to replace umbrella dividing the cost of pieces from total which I provided him. I explained the umbrella was not able to be purchased individually. He responded that was all he was authorized to do. I did not accept, contacted the owner and to date no response.

I contacted Leaf Filter for a salesman to come and give me a quote for gutter guards. I had this company quote me last year but I was not ready to have installation. This year I contacted several companies for quotes through Home Advisory and they recommended 4 companies of which 3 came here. My complaint is with Leaf Filter and I told all of them I was looking for quotes only, however, this salesman was determined to make a sale over my assistance I was only wanting a quote. Last year they quoted me $9200 for 200 feet of gutters. They gave me several discounts with a $1000 if I signed that day. This time they offered a 15% discount plus a $400 discount if I signed today and he did not leave me the quote. These tactics are designed to force a sale and not just a quote. Other companies quoted me from $6700 as low as $3700. The best was by Affordable Gutter Guards at $2800 with better product. I found many companies with very different guards but they all seem to need to get the most for their product.

This company was a HUGE disappointment! My wife saw them at the B'More Healty Expo this past Saturday. The rep told her that you would come to our home and give us a quote that was good for a year. She scheduled an appointment for today at 7. Jim ***, your "regional sales manager" came to our home and the first thing he asks my wife and me is if we are "serious" about purchasing gutter protection. We told him that we were interested in receiving a quote becasue we know how important it is. He then told us that the only reason he was here was because the regular sales rep had bunion surgery. (WHAT?) He went outside to measure and when he came back in, We listened to the entire sales presentation. He gave us a quote that included the "12% commission that the sales rep would take PLUS an "extra" 3%. The quote was about $3800, which was well below the figure I imagined in my mind. My wife and I told him that we needed to think it over, and since we were told the quote was good for one year we would be in touch, especially any exterior alterations needed to be approved by our HOA. Mr. told us that since he was the *** and that since he was not the sales person, if we did not sign contracts immediately, the price would jump to $4500. Mr. then had the nerve to ask if it was the price? And that if it was "$500" would we hesitate to sign the contract. We told him that the price was definitely a consideration, but that the company told us that the quote he gave us would be good for one year. He then told us that the price was only good as long as he was in our home. My wife told him that she was uncomfortable with high pressure sales tactics and he was FURIOUS. He said that it was not high pressure and he told her that if she would stop talking and let him finish.. I told him that we were done, and he said, "You're right we are done because you don't know a good deal when you seed it". WE HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISRESPECTED IN OUR OWN HOME! If this product is as good as they said (and I believed), then it would sell itself, right? Even if we decided to get quotes from other companies, we would ultimately settle on theirs if it is indeed the best product for our home. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Why would anyone purchase anything from them when they treat their customers like this before they have even made a sale? What would it be like after the sale? IF Jim *** is the manager of sales reps, and he behaves like this, then we are so glad we didn't get an actual sales rep! Who knows how much worse we would have been treated? Shame on you.
