Review: I purchased a Ford Explorer from LBSI on July 31, 2014. I test drove the truck prior to purchasing it, and it drove fine. Within two days of purchase, the truck started shaking violently while in motion, and I noticed that the front tires were both about to blow out. I took the truck directly to my mechanic, who informed me that it needed a new rack and pinion, and because of this the tie rods were extremely loose and eating up tires. The mechanic told me that the vehicle was extremely dangerous and should not be driven. I called LBSI immediately and requested that they help me out in some way, whether they repair the vehicle to a state of safety, or canceled the transaction and give me back my trade. The nsaleswoman, [redacted] informed me that the owner wasn't interested in helping me in any way, shape, or form. I understand that I purchased the vehicle as is, but at the point where it becomes a threat to my life, and the lives of my children, husband, and those whom we come in contact with with the truck, there needs to be something done.Desired Settlement: I would be pleased if they would either repair the vehicle, give me back the truck I traded and void the transaction, or provide me with a safer, similar vehicle. I'm even willing to make higher payments as long as the vehicle is safe for my family. I just don't want anyone to get hurt or worse.
