We did respond to this complaint with an explanation We did all of our due diligence and the followed up with the credit card company who found that our company had been hurt in this situation Please note we offered a refund in the first place even though they were outside of our
cancellation policy and our company lost revenue this day due to them not showing up for the tour When they chose to do a charge back for a $fee, we followed up with the facts to the credit card company, who found in our favor We have spent an enormous amount of time on this issue including offering a certificate for future use We have done all we can do and consider this matter closed

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
Should Lazy Otter be more proactive at responding to their clients and provide a trip confirmation, none of this would've happenedIt is unbelievable that a business would not take this opportunity to improve their client services and trip confirmation method and instead rather continuously blaming the customers for the mistake they caused
Lazy Otter did not provide an accurate explanation of the situation to the credit card company which led to the banks' decision favoring their companyLazy Otter wanted to settle by proving a voucher for future trip but we think as a consumer we also reserve the right to not be forced to take services from a company we do not trust and felt unfairly treated
This incident involved three families and did not only affected us financially, but also emotionally (it was a year olds' birthday trip and another one's bucket list trip).
We are prepared to carry this matter further with the consumer protection unit as you suggested and hope to get back the money ($764) that Lazy Otter took from us without providing the service
