We had 4 trees taken down and one tree trimmed. The employees were polite and professional. The cleanup of the job site was amazing and all the staff were very professional and had a very good work ethic.

Lazo Landscaping did a fantastic job on transforming our backyard. They planted numerous privacy hedges for us along with pine trees, deep watering spikes and redid our drip system. They were excellent at communication and kept us informed at every step of the process. They showed up on time each day and cleaned up after themselves when they left. Of all the bids I received they were the most affordable. The plants are all first quality and very happy in their new location.

I will definitely be using Lazo Landscaping again! I called them to come and give me an estimate on a couple of trees I wanted to remove from my home and they came out the same day! They were very professional and friendly, they also beat all the nearby companies pricing. They began to work the same week, and in no timeI had a clean yard! They are very clean and make sure to leave no mess behind. Such a pleasure working with them!

We contracted with Lazo to remove an old in ground swimming pool, add fill dirt, MECHANICALLY COMPACT THE FILL, add top soil, and plant grass seed. Also included was to add a swale to direct rain runoff away from the house.
They DID NOT compact the soil, and they planted grass on the loose fill. This resulted in "soft spots" all over the lawn where you sink to your ankles when you walk.
Also, a portion of the swale was actually pitched TOWARD the house resulting in a small lake about 2 wide x 30 feet long. (I had to personally add about 20 wheelbarrows of dirt to change the pitch of the swale.)
Over a span of 3 weeks, I talked to the owner twice, and the office manager three times requesting someone to come out and resolve these issues. They all made promises, but no one ever showed up. I finally had to do the work myself.

Installed two lamps on top of sitting wall pillars that do not work. Called Lazo several times and he has not addressed the issue. He's avoiding us.
In June Lazo Landscaping was hired to completely redo our backyard to the tune of $36,000. Part of the project includes a sitting wall with pillars at each end that are topped with lamps. Since the very first day the lamps did not work properly. Changing the bulbs did not solve the problem. The lamps have to be replaced. I've called Jose *** at least a dozen times over three months and my phone calls mostly go unanswered. When he does answer the phone, he makes arrangements to stop by to address the problem and then never shows up. He says his work is guaranteed, but he has yet to show it. The next step is to see a lawyer.

Lazo Landscaping performed a service at my next-door neighbor's property that ultimately caused damage to my property.
Approximately six weeks ago, Lazo Landscaping installed hardscaping and landscaping at my next-door neighbor's property. In doing so, they failed to put up a fence to block debris and run-off from entering my yard (despite my repeated calls to do so). As a result, dirt flowed into my yard and hardened, killing the grass. Even worse, the change in grading that Lazo created, though subtle, changed the way that water is meant to run through the property lines. As a result, Lazo had to install a drainage system in my yard (something I never should have had to have). In installing the drainage system, his careless employees rode equipment along the side of my property, destroying a majority of the sod that I just recently installed (costing in excess of $1,000). At this point, six weeks later, approximately 30% of the side of my yard is dead. I've tried contacting Lazo multiple times, only to be responded to on a very inconsistent basis. When he sends workers out to "fix" the problem, they often make it worse, and then Lazo follows up by telling me that I'm lucky he's even doing anything about the situation. As a result of his lack of responsiveness and transparency, I ultimately purchased resources to attempt fixing the yard myself, which were non-refundable, only to find his workers at my property later that day (completely unbeknownst to me). At this point, I've solicited the services of another landscaper to properly fix my property and believe Lazo Landscaping should have to pay. This should never have happened to me. I didn't want, nor ask, for any service to be done to my yard. His careless workers and his careless company dragged me into this.

Did a great job on my garden. Two trees were compromising the plumbing system and they turn them down efficiently. They left the area clean and planted grass seeds where the trees were. Fair price for the job they performed.

A few days ago I discovered a hole in the back windscreen of a vehicle on my property along with a small stone imbedded with a grass impression in the car after some lawn cutting was carried out a couple days before by this company's workers.
I did the next best thing (which I thought it was) by contacting the owner of the company who responded to me in a very reluctant manner and said he will call me back, even asking me why do I think it was done by them, it wont take a rocket scientist to figure how the stone got there would it?, as the car was parked just 10 feet in my yard from where they were cutting in an area that consist of stones of the same size and pattern as the one that broke the back glass on the car. Now I am left with a $260.00 repair bill due to work being carried out in an unsafe manner by this company workers who must have known what they had done, but the dishonesty starts from the top. God don't sleep and KARMA is a *** just like pontious pilate I have washed my hands.
