I had a roof leak that came through my second-floor master bedroom ceiling and soaked the carpet and created a leak in my downstairs family room ceiling. It was a major repair and cleanup job and Lawton's many teams of workers who specialized in each phase of the process (estimating, preparing, repairing, cleanup, and relocating large furniture) was all done like clockwork. All the personnel were friendly and courteous. They explained everything that was going on and kept me up to date frequently. I selected them based on my insurance company's (AAA) recommendation and I would echo that recommendation to anyone in need of major repairs on one's house. Jeff was particularly good at his repair work.

Referred by our home insurance (AAA) to repair a roof leak and resulting damage, we hired Lawton Construction. Their commercial grade dehumidifier leaked and ruined a portion of our wood floors. Despite numerous attempts to work it out with them, we were finally forced to file in small claims court as we were up against the three year statute of limitations. The Superior Court of California ruled in our favor, but Lawton Construction has not complied with the court's order to recompense us for the damage they admitted causing. We have tried multiple times to encourage them respectfully to comply with the court's order, but they will not. So, we now have to pursue the more extreme measures the court requires when such an even happens. Not only did they NOT fix what they were hired to do, they caused expensive damage and have disregarded a court order. Beware.
