Review: I was sold a car about 9-10 months ago with a broken odometer unbeknownst to me at the time of sale. After driving for about a day I noticed the issue and called the company to rectify the issue. At that time the person who sold me the car made me aware that he indeed knew about the issue and failed to inform me, but promised that when it was time to get my car inspected that he would help me pass since no one else would. Once I called him at the time of inspection the man who sold me my car completely disregarded me and pretended as though he had never even sold me this car. This needs to be justified. Desired Settlement: To be reimbursed the amount that it will cost me to get this issue serviced and inspection cost.
Review: We bought a 1999 ford explorer here on Saturday. As of right now we can't even drive it because of issues with it. We were told the battery was dead when we went to look at it because someone left a light on. Thy started charging it and promptly rushed us to go to the bank before it closed to get cash out. When we got back to test drive it we found a problem with the brakes. When we mentioned it he got extremely irritated and said there was nothing wrong. Yet he kept dropping the price on the vehicle. The next day when I tried to drive the vehicle the battery was almost dead. When further looked at we discovered the alternator is shot, along with the idler pulleys. Along with that the shock is missing off the back hatch, it needs a dimmer switch inside ($100 part), the abs is broke. So far we're well over $500 in parts alone and still can't drive it to see what else is wrong. I would like the dealer to acknowledge there are problems with this vehicle.Desired Settlement: I would like the money back for all the repairs I've had to make to this vehicle just a day after we bought it. $500 at least would be sufficient.

To Whom It May Concern,
In response to lD#[redacted], first of all, the price of the vehicle was $3450. The customer took
vehicle for a test drive 3 separate times and found a problem with the ABS unit on the vehicle. The
customer then called his mechanic from his cell phone and told him what the problem was. His
mechanic told him that it would cost no more than $300.00 to repair the problem. With the vehicle
having that problem, instead of reducing the price $300, we reduced the problem $450 to compensate
for any money that he may have to spend on the vehicle. In addition to that, we purchased him a 3
month power train warranty ,which is good for 90 days or 4,500 miles whichever came first. We did not
rush anyone to the bank as they decided to get money out of the bank at 2:30 pm on a Saturday
afternoon and the nearest bank which was 11 miles away closed at 3:00 pm. As a courtesy to the
customer, we drove the customer and his wife to the bank to get his money out of the bank to purchase
the vehicle. I feel that I was more than generous with the customer. We reduced the price of the vehicle
$450.00 and purchased a warranty that was $249 for the customer. In all, I thought I was more than fair
with the customer. Enclosed is a copy of the customer’s warranty. Thank you for allowing me to explain
my side of the story.
you,
