I have reviewed the original response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the emailed response would not resolve my complaint. However ~ After seeing the responce, I went into the store and was able to speak with the new owner in person finally. I had never been able to do this in the past, as I only was able to catch other sales associates when I was in the studio previously to talk about the issue & had only been able to converse with the owner via email. The owner agreed to extend the remaining passes that I had for one more year ~ as I had purchased them from the previous owner before the one year policy was instituted. I agreed to take the compromise of extening the passes for one year (even though they originally had no expiration date) ~ since I will be in town all summer at least and will be able to use them within this time frame.

I have explained to Ms,*** that I am the new owner of Know Yoga Know Peace since July I have also explained to Ms.*** that yoga class cards expire one year from purchaseThis is not a change in business practice as she claims, and to the best of my knowledge the previous owner had the
same policy. She purchased a class card years ago in December from the previous owner. I do not personally know, have never met, spoken with, or seen Ms*** at the studioHer communication with the studio has been strictly through email, and she claims she had a verbal agreement with the previous owner that her class card would never expireI have no documents that states any such agreement between her and the previous owner, nor does Ms.***So what I'm left with is someone I've never met telling me I owe her somethingStandard business practice is class cards expire one year from purchase, and I have to stick to thatI understand she is frustrated but her complaint is with the former owner.
