Review: I did not receive services, but was coerced into payment through debt collection agency. The Dentist / Orthodontist was paid in full, though I dispute having to do so since: (1) my insurance pre-paid him its portion to initiate the procedure, (2) the Dentist / Orthodontist could not perform the service, because on the day of my procedure I learned he was out of the office on medical leave, (3) a different Dentist / Orthodontist was going to perform my procedure (whom I'd never met before), (4) the replacement Orthodontist was only going to do "half" of my procedure, (5) I left and did not receive orthodontia treatment, so the SERVICE WAS NOT PROVIDED YET WAS PAID FOR, and (6) the office manager who made the sale no longer works there for questionable practices per the current office manager, whom I paid and promised would resolve my credit and collection issue, but never did. Throughout, the Dentist / Orthodontist has never been available to talk with me. So, basically, my insurance agency and I were bilked out of thousands of dollars. (7) And, my dental insurance provider only allows one Orthodontia treatment, so in the insurance company's records they will not contribute again to my going elsewhere, so I am left without the medical attention I desired.Desired Settlement: (1) Completely clearing my credit record with the major credit reporting agencies, (2) a full refund of monies paid and (3) a letter of apology.

RE: ID [redacted]
The issue with the patient that filed the complaint, [redacted], has been resolved. The collection agency was initially instructed to clear the matter up and reflect this on **. [redacted]'s credit rating. We received no further notice regarding the matter following this request. The request was made as a courtesy, once his outstanding balance was paid. A period of approximately 6 months or more passed before we were notified by **. [redacted] that the report showed the matter "Paid", but it still remained on his record. We had no way of knowing that the matter was only noted as paid.
Since, the notification from **. [redacted], prior to the complaint he filed with you, the matter was deleted from his Credit record per our request.
Please give the office a call with any further questions. The office has handled the matter in the most timely manner allowable based on the considerations of the third party required to complete the task.
Regards,
