Lawn Doctor Of Southwest Mont Cnty/Rockville

Review: I went into agreement with Lawn Doctor of Montgomery County in spring of 2012. I was very happy with the service. My lawn looked great. The service was done at good intervals with a affordable cost. The problem came this past August, 2013. A scheduled service was performed and the tech over sprayed. My lawn is now burned. There are brown spots in the front and back yards. There is a absolute line along my neighbors yard where the tech sprayed. I know someone can make a mistake. The tech did a bad job. My main issue is when Lawn Doctor sent someone out to look at the problem they said my yard has a fungus. I am not a grass expert but it is very clear the lawn was over sprayed. They could at least stated a mistake had been done instead of coming up with a non-existing problem. They did offer to re-seed one spot in the front. They should have offered to re-seed all the front and back, free of charge.Desired Settlement: They should air-raid and re-seed the whole front and back yard.

Dear Ms. Horne:

I met with the customer and walked the lawn. There were some brown areas that were due to a lawn fungus and some were due to active grubs and he had some fine fescue in the back. I told him what to do as far as eliminating the grubs and to seed the lawn to fill it in. I also told him to call me if I could be of any more help.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I still believe there was some over spraying, not just grubs.
