Stephanie lake was my ssi lawyer in Phoenix and let me tell you she got me full back pay all the way from when I was first released from cps and adult care homes. Yes it took some time however I truly believe that she is the best lawyer and person. She and her staff are campanet and friendly and I really felt like I was a real person who mattered to her and her staff. Her father was a lawyer before her and she is appasully the best and staff, wow, they where great, never rude or unpleasant or unpayssaint to me,or my husband or the staff at my old doctors office, and my program staff. They were very kind, cancerd, helpful, they took time and to explain everything to me and to the judge over my case and I was glad to hear that not only did she get my ssi case took en care of, her staff spoke with me both in English and in Spanish witch helped not only me but also my husband and my family. I believe my case was very very hard, and my history was not easy for everyone to see and be apart of. I really owe a lot to her and her office. Look I am thermally ill and I was very badly abused and I was removed from my family and I had my first son token away from me and while in the care of cps still, my son ended up dead. He was 5 years old, also I was wrongfully abused for years while in cps, and was not given my monthly payments for being a word of the state and I was not given the right medical care for a while, my lawyer Stephanie and her staff were able to not only win my case but I was granted in full all my back pay, uselly you can only get up to 3 years of back pay, however in my case I was granted from the time I was amanspated at the age of 14,and I was ordered by the courts to be an adult at that age and sent to prison. I was locked up for the most part of my life, in mental wards, jails, prisons or some kind of instation or program, I wanted to be on my own, and I wanted to have a life. For however long I have left to live. I was told 6 months to a year or at the most 2 years, well I am still alive and I am not always well but I am still alive. So even though I am not any longer with my husband I am blessed to say I am with a very good, caring, loving friend and his other family members who have been helping me out. So I am grateful for them in my life. I want to say thank you for everything to you Stephanie and your staff and for the judge who heard my case. To the housing programs in Phoenix, AZ and to the many medical staff, schools, prions, and other placements for helping out in getting all my recards, records, files in order for the case. To my bishop at the time in the Spanish wards,to my many friends who have put up with my ups and downs. To My old case manager and first p.o. he and his worker's when he was assigned to my case was always there if I had a problem at one of the homes. I really missed him and his partner when I was in cps, yes I was not always treated right but my first cps worker was very good and as soon as my brother had told him that I was having issues he did not 2nd guess or waste time with his kids. If we were being abused or miss treated he was on it and made sure we were moved. Even when sent to half brother's family to another state, as soon as he found out that again I was being hurt he didn't care if I was in another state or not, he had me moved again and I was on a plane back here to safely. Well at least for as far as fasterhomes. But I had other issues both my own and sometimes the staff but I was ok.then I lost him as a worker, he was sent into the service for the war and that was the end of him being my worker. But there are other people that work there that care and others that don't give a st it's a paycheck to them and rhats not cool. Well anyways I think I should call her and see if I can have my records sent to me and also to see if she can get a hold of ssi for me and find out what going on in my case and also have them send me my own payments and say hi. She also received a very handsome pay for winning the case. Yea I think I will call her
