After our office began work, including, but not limited to, answering complaints, gathering his financial information and status, answering his numerous telephone calls, etc. on all of the above matters, he cancelled our service. All of the above-stated services are on a flat fee basis and are non-refundable which is clearly stated on the retainer agreements. However, even though I felt I should not have given any refund to Mr. [redacted], I agreed to give him a partial refund of $1,000.00 which he initially agreed to accept. After agreeing to and receiving such refund, Mr. [redacted] decided it was no longer acceptable and decided to attempt to shake me down for more money to which, I refused. I personally called Mr. [redacted] from my cellphone and responded to his emails, so his claim of not receiving communication from my office is meritless. His numerous emails began to become insulting and childlike, so I informed him that our representation was over and instructed him not to contact our office again.
