Law office of Attorney Dean Christopher Morask

The attorney requested a retainer fee of $6000.00 to proceed with a criminal defense case for my son Julius *** who is currently serving a 27 year sentence for a crime committed in 2006.The attorney fees were paid in 10/18 as of 01/26/2020 the attorney had not proceeded with ANY court actions regarding Julius were never filed. I terminated the attorney contract 01/26/20 for failure to abide by the contract agreement regarding Julius case proceeding. Per the termination letter I requested a full refund due to the disservice and the lack of professionalism from the attorney. I filed a complaint with the Illinois Disciplinary Board 01/29/20 to have this attorney disbarred with the intent to prevent him from practicing law every again in any state, also to prevent this will not happen to another family and their love one who is relaying on an attorney to represent their case. I went to terminate the service from the attorney, he refuse to give me my sons court document he had to proceed with his case and the police had to be called to the attorney office. Before the police office arrive at the office Attorney Laura *** the wife who happens to share a office space with Dean *** told him to return the items, and at that point only did he agree returned the box of court documents.
