Review: I went to wash clothes on 12/30/14 and used my credit card to put money on the laundry card. After going to my car I realized that my card was missing and went to the desk to ask if anyone returned a credit card. The gentleman at the desk said no and I immediately went on my bank site to check my charges. I saw a charge for "Sq Ismar's laundry" in the amount of $26.20 and asked him if he knew the name of that laundry. He said the other person behind the counter owned that personal business. I asked her if anyone had charged that amount to her account in the last hour and she sent the guy to the car for her book and then said no. She said she hasn't charged since the prior day because she left her card reader at home. I called my bank and cancelled the card then asked for the owners info. She stated that no one gets in contact with the owner but she can call. She returned to say the owner didn't answer but the manager said to just cancel the card. I was shocked that the manager she claims she spoke to didn't even have the respect to speak directly to me. I advised her that the bigger issue was that her personal business gained money from my account and she acted like I was crazy for assuming she had charged my card. She then continued to give me attitude and say I was not willing to listen to what she said. She then said the owner doesn't have a set time to show up and "comes whenever". I felt so violated and I plan on reporting the incident to the local precinct and pressing charges. I have already printed out the charges that are pending on my account as proof. My bank advised that the charges are pending and if they become permanent they will dispute them. This person that is responsible for peoples accounts and handling money is allowed to steal from the customer and there is no number for the consumer to call and contact a manager or boss. This is unacceptable. The sign claims that there is 24 hour surveillance and I see cameras up. Hopefully they are not for show!Desired Settlement: I need that employee fired for stealing and an apology. I would also like some kind of contact number posted for customers when they have issues that the employees have caused or cannot resolve.

When I finally understood what happened here I was uphauled. I did in fact, fire the employee immediately! I would like to extend a $20.00 credit to [redacted], she will need to see the attendant for this, and they will call me. I am grateful for this complaint in writing because I would not have known about this otherwise.

The offer to give credit is appreciated but not necessary. I will not be claiming the credit. I appreciate that the owner responded to my complaint and took action.
