Review: I was interested in the Lafonn stud earrings after hearing about them on the radio. My boyfriend and I went into purchase them on February 13th, for my Valentines Day gift. When I had researched them online, Laskers website had stated they were 60.00 for the 1.00tcw I was interested in. When we purchased them on the store they were 85.00. Assuming they went up in price we purchased them and left. I went on the website when returning home and sure enough they were still priced 60.00. I called and explained the situation and they had me chat with an IT person who had admitted to uploading the wrong prices. I asked if they would match the advertised price and they refused. My boyfriend was quite upset and called back to talk to a manger and he rudely told him they made a mistake and he shouldn't be concerned about price when buying gifts. We are looking to get engaged and have been shopping jewelry stores. I have never had such a negative experience and will be sharing with all my friends and family the rude and shady business practices Laskers has.Desired Settlement: I would at the very LEAST be refunded for the 25.00 plus tax difference in price.

We received you notice of complaint from customer [redacted]. I have contacted her with an apology for the misunderstanding and the offer to refund her $25 plus sales tax.
We did have an upload problem with a product file for this product. The customer was charged the correct MSRP of $85 but our website did show the earrings at $60. We interpreted the order of events that the customer purchased the earrings in our store and later went on our site to get more information and saw the wrong price at that time. When she called, our associate explained the mistake. Regardless, we should have refunded the difference then. The problem of the wrong price on our site has been corrected and we are more than happy to refund the difference for our mistake.
I did make an attempt to contact [redacted] about an hour after he called to let them know that we would refund the difference. We had compounded the problem by not having his phone number entered correctly in our database or else I could have fixed this problem before it got to this point.
Sorry for the inconvenience to the Revdex.com. I hope this explanation is satisfactory and will reflect poorly on Lasker Jewelers. We are a very successful 86 year old, 3rd generation company here in Eau Claire that has prided itself on treating customer’s fairly and with respect.
