My flight to *** was cancelled due to COVID-19. 21 Broad is charging me a 10% fee of the total cost. The trip was not until the first week of June. I had full intention of going on the trip, but as I just mentioned the flights were cancelled. This is obviously not under my control. I spoke with the General Manager about my concern and he stated that corporate was charging all people who cancel after May 18th (opening day).
I feel the I gave plenty of notice.
Also, I paid with a credit card and they are mailing me a check for the total amount minus the 10% fee. I thought that was strange too!

In February 2019, we reserved several hotel rooms from ***, a property owned by Lark Hotels. Lark Hotels requested a deposit in the amount of $4,930 a pre-payment for the hotel rooms. In February 2019, we paid this deposit amount, and Lark Hotels received this amount. We stayed at the *** property on August 30, 2019 through September 1, 2019. The cost of this stay was bill against the $4,930 deposit. We were promised that shortly after our stay, the unused portion of the deposit would be promptly refunded. Since September 1, 2019, we have send countless phone calls and e-mails to Lark Hotels and ***, seeking return of our deposit. Our calls and e-mails have largely been ignored, and we have not received our deposit back. It has been nine months since we paid our generous deposit, and ten weeks since we were promised return of our deposit.

We booked two rooms for two nights, July 3rd and 4th. The cost was $2,101.84
The rooms had never been occupied as they had just been remodeled and clearly were not ready for occupancy. There was a heat wave July 3rd and 4th and the AC was not functioning on check-in. (My husband has heart disease so the unbearable heat and no overhead fan was concerning.)The televisions did not function, the safety box still had the batteries in a plastic case. The door lock to one room did not function the entire time. After notifying the manager several times (she was quite nasty and told me she was fully aware of the AC problem and suggested that I should just walk around the island instead of watch TV in the room). Repair men were in and out of the rooms the entire stay. The AC in my room finally kicked in late in the evening the night of the 3rd. My children did not have air conditioning, which was very, very uncomfortable. Nothing was done to resolve these complaints except offering me a $250 gift coupon to the hotel for a future stay, which I naturally declined. When I emailed them back after the stay they said they had offered to change our rooms...that is simply a false statement!
