Laporte Plumbing and Heating

Review: On October 29, 2013, our extermainating company hit a water pipe when doing a job for our customer. We hired Laporte to do the repair. They arrived at the end of the day and instead of doing the repair as we were told they would do, they did a rerouted with a temporary fix to get the water back on for the customer and said they would return the next day. The next day, they did return, but sent an inexperienced tech to do the job. After working for 10 hours and could not get the repair done because the "temporary fix" that we did not ask for was giving him major problems. When I called the 4th time to complain, they sent the guy back from the night before and he had the repair to the temporary fix, along with the original problem completed in an hour. I was told that the guy was heating the copper at a heat too high and it was crumbling. The customer said that the tech had scorched the siding area at the "temporary fix" and wanted them to repair it. Laporte said they would handle it and would send someone out. To date, they have never sent anyone out, nor will they return any calls or emails - and have been very rude everytime I leave a message. Foolishly, we paid Laporte's bill the day we received it from them. Our customer will not pay our bill until Laporte has completed their part.Desired Settlement: Have repairs made to the property that their technician created (replace scorched part of siding).
