*** on 10/as promised with a start date of 10/16. I had previously explained the miscalculation with the price and they said that upon receipt of the invoice they would send the rest of the deposit. Upon receipt of the invoice they sent a check for the other portion of the deposit. On 10/*** called to request a refund due to unexpected expenses preventing them from completing the job at that time. He also requested I not deposit the other check they had sent us. On 10/*** emailed requesting the deposit be refunded per our phone conversation. I responded via email to *** on 10/that I would send the check in the mail that day. I wrote the check for the amount of $564 and put it in the mailbox on 10/19. *** filed a complaint with your organization on 10/saying he had received no response and he would like the refund of $564. On 10/our company checking account records show the check I wrote him cleared If necessary I can provide a copy of the cleared check.
