Lantern Motors

In May of 2016, I arrived at Lantern Motors along with my wife, with an interest in a Mercury MarauderWhen the car door was opened, an extremely pungent dog odor came from the car(the previous owner had a dog that obviously rode in the car consistently)There was dog hair all over the inside of the vehicleMy wife refused to get in the carIt is my opinion that if you have a vehicle on your lot that you expect to sell, why would you not take the time to shampoo and vacuum the inside to make it as presentable as possible to your potential customer? There should be a standard for which you hold your product that ultimately reflects on your business and ethicsThat was not evident in this instance, but my love for the car surpassed ** dislike for their presentationNow here we are shampoos, (at my expense) and months later and my car still smells like the dog is still in itMy review of Lantern Motors is more to the thought that if your customer and his wife are obviously interested in purchasing the car but bothered by a smell that certainly should not be present at the time of showing, why would you not make a good faith effort to try and remedy the situation by offering to shampoo the car? That would just be a wise business gesture to secure the dealI guess common sense is not that common after all I would like to note that there are locations for Lantern Motors and my experience with the McGregor Blvd was a bit hostile with regard to customer service experienceHowever the Cleveland Avenue location was much more pleasant and is where I eventually purchased the vehicle from
