Landstar truly is very professional and detail oriented. The team did an outstanding job on both my claims. If you have water damage; I highly recommend this Company.

Lanstar did an unacceptable tile job on my master bathroom.
On February 25,2019 Lanstar sent their subcontractor to install a new bathtub and re-tile my master bathroom. The tile work and installation was unacceptable to me. The tiles were uneven and jut out from the wall. The incorrect grout was used on the walls causing them to turn black when wet and the grout lines are not even. The shower doors and side panel glass are crooked. The tub which Lanstar gave me the specifications for and I picked was to big for the space and instead of calling Lanstar the subcontractor assured me that he could make it work. The result was a bathtub that has massive amounts of grout and silicone on three sides. The fixtures for the shower which I bought were installed crooked. The bathtub fixtures which I also bought were installed by the subcontractor and left unscrewed on the cold side. When I first notified Lanstar March 3,2019 after the job had been initially completed by the subcontractor on March 2,2019 and told them that water was leaking down the inside of my wall in the shower and that the tile job was unacceptable Lanstar sent their representative and he told me that Lanstar would not re-tile the bathroom and they were only going to fix the leaking shower and the bathroom seat which had such a sharp corner it that it was hazardous and that the same company who messed it up to begin with would be doing the corrections which I was opposed to. I notified the owner by email and included pictures that the tile job was unacceptable. He emailed me back to let me know that he was reviewing my complaint, I emailed him twice more within a 4 week period of time to ask for his decision. I still have not heard from him. Not once did the contractor come to my home during the process and inspect the work his subcontractor was doing. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this companies work.

I want my bathroom re-tiled.

To whom it may concern. We feel that the complaint levied by Mrs. Garland is not valid. Lanstar of East Orlando is whom she signed her contract with to provide restoration services. Lanstar of East Orlando was a licensed location from Lanstar Holdings LLC., and was it's own entity with it's own ownership structure. That group was licensed to use the "Lanstar" name via DBA.
What Mrs. Garland fails to understand is that our company is Lanstar, LLC. and the complaint that she is launching to the Revdex.com should be for Lanstar of East Orlando. We are simply Lanstar, LLC the restoration company and I as it's owner and founder of the brand chose to assist Mrs. Garland with her bathrooms due to the Lanstar name attached to her issue. However, in no way are we legally obligated to assist her. Servpro is a national restoration company which has thousands of franchises and licensed locations. Their corporate would have been bankrupt years ago if every dissatisfied client of the franchises complained to corporate which does not own those locations. Mr. Scott *** owned Lanstar of East Orlando and it is not closed. We did the best job that we could to assist Mrs. Garland fixing what Mr. had messed up. We did not have an obligation to do this for her. In the process, Lanstar, LLC lost nearly $4000 of it's own money facilitating her project and paying our subcontractor. AGAIN, I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT WE ARE LANSTAR LLC AND NOT LANSTAR OF EAST ORLANDO. WITHOUT A LEGAL OBLIGATION, WE TOOK HER INSURANCE MONEY OF ROUGHLY $3800 AND ADDED ANOUTHER $4,000 OF OUR OWN RESOURCES AND HAD OUR SUBCONTRACTOR REPAIR/REPLACE DAMAGED ITEMS AND ITEMS THAT WERE NOT ORIGINALLY TAKEN CARE OF BY LANSTAR OF EAST ORLANDO. In closing Who Mrs. Garland should be complaining about is Scott *** and Lanstar of East Orlando. Not Lanstar, LLC. We do not want our Revdex.com A+ Rating compromised due to this issue.

What Mr. is failing to address is the fact that the job of tiling my master bathroom was done incorrectly by the subcontractor he hired for the job not Scott ***. This has nothing to do with Scott *** he did not tile my master bathroom. This complaint is about the job Lanstar LLC did on my master bathroom. The tile in the bathroom does not meet industry standards for lippage and was poorly done, not to mention that my shower doors and side panel are noticeably crooked, the wrong type of grout was used according to industry standards and turns black on my almond colored tile, the grout lines are different, my new bathtub was to big for the space but the subcontractor told me that he could make it work and it did not work with over 1 inch of grout and silicone put over it on three sides and a coldwater bathtub handle that was not even screwed in and who knows where that screw is. If Mr. or his second in command would have bothered to come and oversee the 6 day job which is the contractors job this could probably have been avoided but they did not. Even after I complained that water was leaking down inside my master bedroom wall and the shower wall and that my shower seat's corner was so sharp as to a be a hazard and that the shower doors were only held on by its top wheels that the bottom shower door guides had been lost by the subcontractor, I was was told by Mr. second in command when he finally came over to my house after the job was done that Lanstar would not re-tile my bathroom it would cost to much and that Lanstar was already putting to much money in this job they would only fix the leaking, the seat and try to find a guide and that the same subcontractor who did such a poor job was the person that would be doing the fixing and that it was my fault for not complaining sooner. I have already added pictures that prove my point but will be glad to add more.

I have not received the $2000.00 from Lanstar LLC or any correspondence. Please reopen my complaint.

Lanstar has done an exceptional job in my house, they were very careful with my belongings while working at my home. They are also very organized and work in a timely manner. They has been very helpful through the whole claim process with my insurance. Very reliable employees as well.
I am very satisfy with their service.
