Review: Lanini's Plumbing explained there would be no charge if no work was done when they came to our house. The plumber showed up and I had already fixed the problem. There was no work to be done so the plumber simply left without ever stepping foot outside of his van or even turning the engine off. They said no work=no bill, but then tried to bill us for a trip charge that was not disclosed and an hour of labor which was never done. They are currently sending us invoices and harassing us about being sent to collections for money that they are not entitled and definitely did not earn. I was willing to compromise and pay the trip charge of $25, but Lanini's Plumbing has refused that offer and continues to harass with threats of being sent to collections. If they did the work I would pay, but the plumber didn't even get out of the van or shut his van off. The labor was not done and I refuse to pay for services which were NOT rendered.Desired Settlement: Please contact Lanini's Plumbing and have them stop trying to collect money they are not owed. At this point I am frustrated that I have to take it to this level in what should be a simple matter. I just want them to stop harassing me and threatening to send me to collections when they are not owed anything. I want a zero balance with then and for them to stop harassing me.

Response:
We have only talked to the Customer once at time of job and once regarding bill.
He called us to say he wasn't paying bill. We never have called to threaten or harass
him. He called us once. We have talked to the Customer once regarding his bill. He said,
that he wasn't going to pay it and we said that it will get sent to collections. We probably
sent him statements too. You can hardly call that harassing. "He called us." He needs
to review the story he is telling. We have no interest in ever doing work for him or her.
Miss [redacted]'s father worked for us for years. He was a fine man. We need not to forget
how important a person’s income is to them. The plumber got paid nothing for all his time.
If the shoe was on the other foot, they might get our point. We will write him off as a bad
debt. We don't have time for all his stories! In the future the Customer should call someone else.
Thank you,
