Lang's Appliance Service

Requested service from Lang's Service Center on our less than 1 year old GE washer. We had an extended warranty so the washer is still under GE warranty, in which Lang's is an authorized GE service center. After attempting to repair the washer 3 times (5 visits) and one scheduled appointment in which no one showed up, the washer again broke down. This time Lang's simply stated "done with you" and refuses to service us.

LANG'S WORKED ON MY GE GAS COOK STOVE, WHICH WAS UNDER GE 1YR WARRANTY. ORDERED PART, REPLACED PART, BUT DID NOT RECHECK STOVE AFTER NEW PART INSTALLED!! WE NOW HAVE A STOVE THAT THE PRE HEAT LIGHT GOES OFF 100 DEGREES BEFORE THE SET TEMP IS REACHED, AND THE OVEN LIGHT DOES NOT WORK.CALLED GE AND THEY WOULD NOT SEND LANGSBACK OUT. WENT TO LANGS IN MANITOWOC AND "WOW" THEY INSISTED THEIR TECH. HAD TESTED THE STOVE AFTER REPLACEMENT, WHICH HE DID NOT!!!!! THEY WERE VERY RUDE, NEVER ASK ME MY NAME AND NEVER PULLED A FILE ON THE WORK THEY HAD DONE. KEPT TELLING ME IT WAS MINE AND GE'S PROBLEM. KEPT TELLING THEM HE NEVER TESTED THE NEW PART, AT WHICH TIME THEY ORDERED ME OUT OF THE STORE AND THREATED TO CALL THE POLICE. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
