Review: On 9/25/2012 Lanes Automotive replaced both front coil springs in my 2004 Toyota Camry 3.3L. After the repair the springs were noisy. When I looked up the part number from the invoice for the springs, I found out that they were not the correct springs for the 3.3L engine (they were correct for a 3.0L engine). I called the technical representative for Federal-Mogul (the company that manufactured the springs) and he confirmed that that part number was not correct for my car. I wrote all of this down for Lanes and went back to ask them to check to make sure they had installed the proper springs. The first time I went back they insisted that the springs were correct and that the noise was coming from the front strut assembly bearings. The next time they said they would get back to me, but they never did. So I purchased the correct springs from the Toyota dealer and replaced them myself. This corrected the problem of the noisy springs.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the cost of the parts and service on the spring replacement. The amount is $287.62. I can return the incorrect springs to Lanes if they want me to.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] today and he stated that he called the consumer twice and left a message with no return calls. The Service Rider also called the consumer with no call back. [redacted] stated the right springs were put in and they even verified this with Toyota. This happened before the complaint was filed.
