June, 2015Dear Representative of Revdex.com,I am glad to respond to your letter and notify you the facts about this matter.The customer purchased the ring and lost the whole top pieceIf our jewelry breaks we will fix it but if a customer loses the whole top of a diamond ring there is a charge to replace it.Our Company is willing to split the cost of the top of the ring which is appx $for $250.In which we are not liable for lost itemsWe can find a new style of top for the itemThe old top is no longer availableBut we are willing to take care of this customer.Please have customer speak to our manager Shakila we can settle this matter.Our Warranty does not cover lost items!Thank you,SincerelyDiamond Depot Management
She did not give us a written warranty, she told me if I was to have any problems or diamonds were to fall out just bring it back and she would fix them at no charge, my friend who is also a pastor was with me when she told me thatWithin the first month small diamonds started falling out and they did repair themWhen the top fell off and we originally took her the ring she told me no problem they would fix it free she actually took the ring and we didn't hear anything for weeksI called times and people kept telling me my ring was sent out to be fixed and was not back yet, then the one day I asked why it wasn't back yet it's been weeks and was told that it would take a week to fixthis is when they told me the ring I had was discontinued so they couldn't get the top under warranty and we would have to pay now
Diamond Depot always tries to resolve every issue with every customerThe manufacture of the ring will not cover anything lost on the ring like the prongs with diamondsDiamond Depot is willing to refund the customer $if he can get the prongs and diamonds replaced, for the estimate that he provided .Thank YouDiamond Diamond Management

I am rejecting this response because:
I already took my ring to another jeweler and showed them a picture of how it looked before the diamonds fell off and was quoted a repair price of 150-250.00 maximum for the same top that my ring had before. So the ring does not cost 700.00 for the top the entire ring was not much more then that price.I was promised a free diamond replacement warrant they never said certain diamonds were not covered under that nor is it my fault that they sold me a ring with the quality of a ring from a gum ball machine where diamonds just fall out. 250.00 is the full cost to have it repaired somewhere else so how is that a compromise? If I were to pay someone 250.00 to fix my ring it certainly wouldn't be form the jeweler who made the ring to begin with so poorly that after a couple months diamonds started falling out.
