In response to the complaint filed for refund or exchange issues:
We closed a purchase transaction for Mr. [redacted] in November, 2016. Mr. [redacted]' mortgagebroker had paid his appraisal fee for him, to be reimbursed by Mr. [redacted] at closing. Wecollected the appraisal fee in the amount of $780.00 on...

Mr. [redacted]' closing statement. Atthe time of disbursing funds, there was a $15.00 refund due to Mr. [redacted]. We inadvertentlyadded the appraisal fee on to Mr. [redacted] refund check, resulting in a check being sent to Mr.[redacted] for $795.00. The mortgage broker contacted us 60 days later to inquire about theappraisal fee reimbursement and that is when we were made aware of the error. We didcontact Mr. [redacted] at that time to explain the situation and ask that he pay the appraisal feethat was still owed.
We apologize for the experience that Mr. [redacted] had, and we will not be pursuing anyreimbursement of the funds.
