BUYER BEWARE
I am so thankful that our company has gotten a new contract with a different bus company to start in 2024. Of nearly a dozen bookings this last year with Lamers, every single on has been a DISASTER.

IF THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT A REPEAT CONTRACT CLIENT IMAGINE HOW THEY WILL TREAT YOUR ONE-OFF BOOKING!

AND IF THEY WILL TREAT A CUSTOMER LIKE THIS IMAGINE THE NIGHTMARE THIS COMPANY MUST BE TO HAVE TO WORK FOR!

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff are perhaps the most offensive part of every transaction with them. The day to day staff by and large isn't great but there are a few you can tell are just trying their best to make a living working under absolutely deplorable management and leadership. The quality of your employees is a direct narrative of the culture and environment your management and ownership sets. It's hard to blame the late driver or the disgruntled staff since they are just trying to hold a job and were hired into a company that would take them because of a lack of standards with a system that sets them up to fail in a culture of deflecting responsibility and abusive customer service. Don't just take our word for it, read the other reviews. They all have a horror story like ours.

There is not one good thing I can say about Lamers. The booking process is always a nightmare. Documents not being sent or processed, payment issues, errors on routing drivers, vehicles breaking down mid-trip, drivers vanishing from return pickup locations, dispatch never able to reach the drivers; the list of issues could fill ten reviews. There are the buses that are always late, showing up at the wrong location, taking confusing indirect routes to destinations, breaking down constantly, or full of windows that are broken and can't be closed/open in the middle of winter/summer. Nothing is on time. Nothing goes smoothly and everything interaction was a brushoff layered with PERSONAL INSULTS by their staff mostly at the management level. I am of the firm believe of giving the benefit of the doubt and never advocate for someone loosing their job or livelihood but there is a Manager at Lamers named Diane that is quite possibly the worst person I or my staff has ever had to work with. She is rude, condescending, never responds to attempts to reach her, dismisses every issue you address with her, and literally insults the customer as a ploy to justify bad service. I wouldn't talk to my enemies they way she talks to my staff when they have had to call her. Management has no interest in improvement but has every excuse for why poor service is not only acceptable in their eyes but should be in yours as well.

Book with them at your own risk and know that regardless of how bad it goes there will be no resolution on their part that you will be satisfied with. You will walk away feeling put down, ripped off, and accosted in nearly every sense of the word. You have better odds of success buying a lotto ticket than booking a bus through Lamers. Save yourself A LOT of time and frustration and book with Badger Bus Lines or Wisconsin Coach Lines. Prices are relatively the same and they have far less bad reviews. Both have bailed us out numerous times when Lamers failed us and while no bus service is perfect at least they treat you like a human being and you don't feel bad about yourself for having worked with them.

Lamers is responsible for addressing behavioral concerns with private contracts This parent was unwilling to discuss any concerns or the property damage caused by her son The call was originally placed simply to make sure parent was aware of the issues Parent refused to have any discussion so we could come to a solution to the behavioral issuesParent insisted she was not satisfied with our service and was unwilling to come to an agreement I advised parent that since she was unhappy with our service I would refund her the balance due from February through the end of her child’s school year
