Parakeet Communities bought our RV Park. Janine Tollett ordered trees and bushes to be removed. The reason was she could not see the entrance. The entrance had been the same since 2010. I had cataracts real bad and could see it when I moved in in 2010.
Janine works for Lake Shore Management but was ordering people in Paradise Lakes RV Park to shut up, listen to her as she announced she worked for Parakeet.
We are actually in Enterprise, Florida. Parakeet and Lake Shore Management needs to research what our building codes are.
She destroyed 8 Gopher Tortoise nest. She made our entrance look like nasty. We are now open to all kinds of stuff. Our mailboxes can now be seen from the road along with the office. MotorCycles are now allowed in and noise is gaining momentum. RV Parks usually down allow this kind of disturbances. We are a quiet community of 55+. Only a few of the residence are under 60.
Yes they had people clean up their yards, but we all were getting ready for the Hurricane season so we were in the process of putting away our items that could cause a problem. They took all the credit for what we did.
A lot of us can't do a lot of stuff with our yards. We used to be able to ask the maintenance man on his time off if he could weed eat the yard. We paid extra for his little help. Now he isn't allowed to do that anymore. Their new rules which after 3 months we still don't have. Its all word of mouth.
They also want to charge our Snowbirds full price all year.
What are they trying to do. Are they trying to get rid of all their renters.
We are a RV Park not a mobile home park. Plus rumor has it they want to get it turned into a Mobile Home Park. That means 2 our RV Lots would become one. So which one of us have to move.
Desaster all the way around.

Lakeshore bought a mobile home park in our town in April 2022. Since then they have been extremely rude to the majority Latino population enforcing 37 pages of rules, sending threatening letters of eviction, not translating the lease or rules and not speaking to and residents even during office hours to name only a few issues. The company's business model is to buy a park, gentrify it, raise rents, evict tenants and increase their asset value. Inhumane, lacking compassion and discriminatory. We will not have them remain in our town. We are fighting back!

Living in Candlestick MHC located in Newburgh NY, which is managed by Lakeshore Management LCC is no picnic. While the community is quiet and the neighbors pretty much respectful. The management is not. The management took control of the park back in Sept. 2018. They showed up unannounced and without any warning at our doors. Since then, Lakeshore has increased the rent beyond the annual minimum %3.0 authorized under NYS laws. Yet they decreased service and maintenance. They removed the community office and relocated it in another county on a property Lakeshore manages there. We don't see the community manager and you can't go to the office in the other county without an appointment.
The answers we get for safety concerns and improvements are always NO. Excuses and lies are the norm for any requests we make. Emergency repairs take months to get done.
After almost a decade of tenants cries for road improvements. New roads were laid down in the community. The job that was done is slipshod at best. A disgrace that no property owner would put up with. Leave alone pay for.
All in all, Lakeshore Management LLC has demonstrated a lack of respect for the tenants and overall incompetence. They are a low budget operation that is focused on making money at the expense of the tenants and their rights.

Purchased a "fixer-upper" mobile home in Lutz, Florida from this company I was told that they had just had the roof resealed I did purchase it "as-is", however, within less than a month, I had mushrooms growing on the floor of the bedroom and mold over the entire house I asked for assistance from the company to repair the roof (wanting a small loan to be able to get the roof fixed, not asking for anything more) I was told "no" by corporate office I placed tarps on my roof to try to protect my investment while I worked on some of the inside and tried to get the money to fix the roof That was July Now, December 2015, I have been given days to fix the roof I do not live in an upscale mobile home community Most of the residents are just barely "making it" (me included) and I do not have the $to get the roof fixed immediately I fix things when I have the money to purchase the materials, then I do the work myself (I am a y.ofemale who's husband is in a nursing home with dementia) When the "regional manager" came by my home today, she was very condescending in the way she spoke to me and not the least bit apologetic that the company had sold me the trailer in this condition Such a "fine" way to treat me, a resident who pays my lot rent in full and on time

This company is terrible!!! They only care about the money..they raise the rent every year and the sprinklers have not been working for more than years so now all everyone has are weeds!!! plus the water lines break weekly!! Terrible terrible company!!!!!!

Greedy Company raising the rent higher then usual on retired communities , unreasonable demands and no added service Greedy alreay raises in rent even after offering that there would not be, park un peaceful after this company bought [redacted] in [redacted] , Florida , Residents have most sold their homes after financial burden of seasonal owners Under paid managers and pushy and greedy , they also hire who they can pay less to do more older retirees so has to work more then one property at late ageinproper timing and notices aweful run don't buy or rent from Lake Shore , already has a bad reputation
