Lakeshore Auction Service Reviews (2)

My experience with Lakeshore
Honest people great experience well run auction.

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowSee below in blueI did put several photos on the BB site, so if you didn't see them there , please let me knowI am a registered auctioneer and the fact that the plantiff can not find any information regarding licencing is due to ineptness on her part. When I checked with the WisAuctioneer Assoc, they said they had no record, however, I did contact the WisLicensing Dept and learned that his license is currentSorry about this oversightI have explained to her in writing via email, and telephone contact with her brother that the itemas left "On Site" belong to the new owner, who purchased said items at the auctionThe new owner agreed verbaly that she would take posesion of said items with the undetstanding that I would dispose of all unwanted items after the owner dicided what to discardI have yet to hear from the ownerI can not legaly remove merchandise from a residence I do not own.The buyers did not become owners until days ago, Monday, Nov [redacted] had a contractwith me, and in that contract he was to clear out any unwanted items by NovThe new buyers had no access to the house, but [redacted] did and I asked him several times to go clean up the messHe knew, based on the transaction sheets, exactly what the buyers purchased, and I'm certain they did not purchase garbage, beer cans, or any of the other items lying around on the floors of all the roomsMy home was still listed for sale, and I wanted the mess cleared out as he promisedThat's why we hired him: to sell and clear outWhatever the buyers purchased could've been neatly stacked in a corner somewhere. The plaintiff did recieve a check along with a settlement formI have a copy of the bank checkI have a copy of the settlement form.I received these things yesterdayI have a copy of the contract. The contract says in writing ,and [redacted] also verbally assured me, that a "complete cleanout "would occur and that option is checked and signed by both parties in the contract. The homebuyers were not part of the contract I have copies of all transactions with regards to this sale as per Wisconsin State StatutesThe complainant is acting on hearsay and was never present at the auction to observe any of the alledged "Miss handling of the items".I personally was not present at the auction, but I had eyes and ears who were in attendance, and also a friend who checked several times a week on the status and condition of the houseThe photos are proof of the condition is was left in [redacted] held the auction, drank beer on the premises, and then disappeared right after the auction and left everything as is and only came back to pick up his tarps, and tablesHe even left a Christmas tree , boxes, plant, papers, strewn about the driveway after the sale, and a friend had to come pick it all up and put it in the garage so it wouldn't blow all over the neighborhood. He never rehung the doors inside the house that he removedAs I mentioned before, my brother and I took great pride in keeping that house pristine and having it show-ready while it was for sale [redacted] was sloppy and left the house in worse condition than before the sale.I believe the inflamatory acusations are the result of an unhappy individual who thought her mrechandise was more valuble that what the market would allowThey are not accusations, I'm only reporting what happened I think [redacted] is probably a decent auctioneer, but based on our experience, should not be handling private home sales if he's not willing to clean up after himselfIt was never about the money we were going to make, most items were old and used but still had memories for us, and the last thing we wanted was to see our home and yard littered with everything that was not soldIf he was not willing to work after the sale, he should've told us and only charged a 10% commission instead of 25%, or had I known, I would've hired another company in town who I know would've handled things differentlyI know a lot of people in town, and like me, their parents are elderly and dying off, and the last thing I want to see is any of them hire Lakeshore Auctions for their estate sales I do not want to spend any more energy on this matter as it was and is very upsetting to meI do not want any more contact with [redacted] or threatening messages from his cohort CraigAll I want is for [redacted] to be aware of the unprofessional way he conducted himself in the hopes that he won't repeat this behaviorAnd a reprimand from the Revdex.com wouldn't hurt either [redacted]
