4/13/- I ordered a Lakeland Mills free hanging porch swing On their web site, under "product dimensions" the width of the swing is listed as 48" I then contracted with a builder for a pergola to be built to accommodate the swing The supporting posts were built to a 57" width, allowing a total of 11'' extra - for plenty of room between the swing and support posts
6/12/- With the pergola completed, I assembled the swing, and prepared to hang it in the newly constructed structure, only to find the swing did not fit in the 57" wide space The swing measured 3/4", from outside bolt to outside bolt - almost 12" wider than advertised I was devastated that I had spent over $3,to have a specially constructed structure to support a swing I could not use I then contacted Lakeland Mills, and spoke with Dana, to seek counsel on my situation, and
