Lakeland Institute for Learning

Our son has been in and out of public schools, I honestly have nothing good to say about the "system" however last year I found Lakeland Institute for Learning. This school has been a God send for our family. Our son had excelled in ways we didn't know were possible. The staff, principal, and the other parents are a network of knowledge and truly caring individuals, and we hope for many more years of watching our son succeed. Thank you Lakeland Institute for Learning for giving us hope!

I am a board member and have never seen such a dedicated director and educator as I've see in Donna Buckner. She truly has a heart for the students needing extra support and services. I have watched children feel success they've never felt before. Many students come to the school never knowing what it's like to have confidence and knowing that you can accomplish something. I have also had the privilege of watching the first graduating class go off to college. A few years prior to this, the students and parents thought this was an impossible fete.
I am so honored and blessed to be a part of this endeavor.

I would recommend this school to anyone. My son absolutely loves going there the teachers are really great and care about the kids.

Out standing learning institution! Smaller classroom sizes give instructors more time for one-on-one with students. Our granddaughter looks forward to going to school "EVERY DAY" what a blessing for 3 years now!!! Founder and principal, Donna B has gone above and beyond for our spal needs children.
