My apologies as I have just now been apprised of the complaint. I have spoken with our server and corrected her on our policy of not adding a gratuity to checks. The ability to do so with out manager authorization has been taken away from our servers. We will be correcting this policy in the future...

by posting such policy on our menus if deemed necessary. The disciplinary of said server has been addressed internally.Just for clarification, the ability to add said gratuity was not an option when starting a check. It could only be added at payment (Computer program). Also, patrons were seated in Dining area which was servers area. Proximity to the bar causes this confusion sometimes.  Regardless, we would like to comply with the wishes of the customer and refund the $19.50 gratuity in question. Please let me know the best way to go about refunding the money. I will attempt to contact at e-mail of customer provided.
