Lai Spa never delivered paid services. They denied payment was made,
Close their business without warning and never notified customers after receiving cash payments. Never offered receipts for payments and received payments knowingly they will be closing the business and would not be able to deliver services.
Hi we believe we received this complaint in error. We have not been open and do not do laser hair removal. We also never received a payment from anyone in the amount stated. If you have any other questions please email me at your earliest convenience

I had booked an appointment because I had a groupon voucher. At the time of booking the voucher code was requested, on the same day I received an email that the voucher had been redeemed when my appointment wasn't until the next week. I had to cancel that day to take my Fiance to the ER and had to miss my appointment and was given a confirmation text of a no show appointment. When I called to reschedule the owner requested I pay another $30 to reschedule per policy, I refused and asked ti be refunded for the voucher I paid for and she refused stating she already paid the massage therapist with that money.
Customer Scheduled a Massage with her Groupon Voucher. Vouchers are redeemed at the time of scheduling appointments. A 30.00 deposit or voucher is what holds your appointment in case of a NO Call/ No show. The client did not call before hand and so we sent the text message about rescheduling her appointment. IF we would have take the 30.00 deposit instead of the redeeming her voucher she would still be out the 30.00 for a no show apt. We make our cancellation policy known at he time of booking and it is even on our website. We are sorry that you were not able to make your appointment but we had to pay our therapist for her time setting up the room, preparing hot towels etc. Cancellation Policies and Fees: • Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy: All will agree, time is our most valuable asset. We ask that appointments be guaranteed against late cancellation or rescheduling with a major credit card. Your card is not billed unless your vacated appointment goes unfilled. We do our best to fill these openings–just like you, we’d much prefer to have another guest take your place than charge for a cancellation. Please provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule a treatment NO SHOWS – NO CALLS Will be charged the full amount of service. Gift Certificates or vouchers will be used as payment for your no show appointment.

I am rejecting this response because: This policy was not written on Groupon to make me aware before purchasing my voucher. Nor was it brought to my attention when I made an appointment. If you are selling a service on a third party site you have to also include your policies to make all potential customers aware. I paid for a massage I never received and you still got paid, not even making your customers aware before purchasing on Groupon. And like I said before I did call 2 hours ahead of my scheduled appointment and had to leave a voicemail.
